  1. Headed down to Sea Isle city tomorrow and Sunday. Plan on fluke fishing and shark fishing at night. Other than the inlet, where are some good spots to go? Also if anyone's down to join, let me know!
  2. Hi All, Currently live in Philadelphia and was planning on trekking out to the jetties in Atlantic City on Thursday and Friday to try my luck. Come Saturday I figured I would probably have luck on a charter, but figure most are full and I have no idea which areas to call to see if they have an open spot. If anyone has an open spot or knows of one, please shoot me a message. I love all kinds of fishing, but have really been struggling the past few years with timing it right to catch a striper. My goal is to catch a big mofo and make a gyotaku(see attached image) out of it and have it framed. Thanks!
  3. I considered the Kayak forum, but I figured it made more sense to post here as it's local. Also, which bay should I consider checking out this time of year? Thanks again
  4. Hi All, I've had a sit-on-top kayak for several years now and would really like to take it in to the ocean for the spring striper run. I have a bunch of fishing gear, but really have no idea what i'm doing as far as taking the kayak out or what gear to use. It's not a pedal drive kayak, so i'm not sure how much of a difference that makes. I remember seeing some ads online a few years ago where someone would supply you with a kayak and gear and take you fishing for a cost. I haven't seen anything like that this year, but really would love to find something similar just can I can get familiar with what to do and go out there on the weekends. Does anyone know of another service similar to that, or is there a local meet-up I could go to? If someone's willing to waste a few hours one weekend, I'll buy ya a case of beer or something. Coming from Philly, so i'm game to drive anywhere within 2 hours. Any tips/help would be much appreciated!
