  6. So yesterday I was fishing out front on top of a pinnacle that rose to 25 feet in 45 feet of water. It Was very difficult to hold my jig on the bottom. I was pitching up stream only having a few seconds of vertical jigging every drop. in this short time I did manage to get bites and keeper size fish but It was very difficult fishing. I did anchor but current was too strong to hold bottom with my 1 ounce jig. not sure what to do in this situation? Should I use a heavier jig? 2 ounces? I am always afraid that a jig heavier then 1 ounce would be too heavy for a tog to pick up?Also I find that the hooks are too large on a jig larger then 1ounce? Any thoughts on fishing in fast current on a Hobie ?
  7. r- thanks for the great advise. I am looking forward to this weekend with my anchor. do you use a claw anchor with chain? thanks
  8. For those that kayak for tog, who thinks its a must to anchor up? if so what type of anchor do you use and your preferred method of anchoring up? Double anchor? marker buoy ? I'm new to togging and have been having frustration drifting off my marked holes and building the bite.
