  1. Tony, No worries on the late reply, just curious I am the original owner and still have my receipt of purchase, is something like this usually covered under the warranty? If not id just order the part and save myself the shipping cost and time . Thanks _rudy
  2. I have had the reel for a little more then a year now and it's been fish hard from the surf and jettys but there's no one time I can remember where the handle took a hard hit.
  3. I want to start off by saying i love this reel and haven't had any other issues with it other then this. But anyway I went to set the hook on a fish and noticed something major had happend. Is something like this covered under warranty and would I need to send the reel in for a issue like this?
  4. I have the 10'6 2-6 and also had the idea of purchasing the 3/4-4 top half, i had called st croix on it and they told me they are differnt diameters, can anyone tell me other wise???
  5. Its not that you "cant" catch bass during the day this time of year its just not a favorable time. Water temps are a little higher and the bright sun seems to hinder the bite. If you want to increase your odds at a bass try night tides and incoming water this time of year.
  6. Another goodnight bite in late june off a south shore jetty on my hand tied bucktails. Kept the smallest fish of the night at 19.5 lbs the rest were all bigger and safely released.
  7. Late night bass caught in june 2016 off south shore on an al gags 8" pearl whip it eel. By far the hottest jig for me this spring
