  1. Bought this reel about 3 years ago and did not use it nearly as much as I thought I would. Mostly sat at home or just went on boat rides. Cosmetically it’s a 9/10...a few very minor scratches here and there, nothing to worry about. Mechanically it’s a 10/10, only caught one fish I believe and it was a small striper. The original spool is filled with 300 yards of jerry brown metered hollow core, 60 lb, with 75 yards of 100 lb white jerry brown hollow core spliced on top. Included is a spare spool filled to the brim with 50 lb power pro green that has touched water maybe 4 times. Black power knob is installed but I have the original knob, bag, and box. Reel has never been registered. Asking $675 shipped OBO. Please let me know if you need more pictures. Pickup in Central Massachusetts. Thanks
  2. Would they do the whole job or would you have to bring in separate pieces? I'm in central mass so Essex county could work
  3. Anybody know someone who can make a custom truckbed toolbox? I need a nice toolbox with some rodholders welded in. I'm in the northeast but am open to anywhere you know of
  4. I wear an under armour coldgear shirt, stormr typhoon and a gage rain jacket on top. I wear thermal socks under the boots.
  5. Need some opinions here. I'm a tuna/bass fisherman, and fish all the way into late November here on the cape. Last year I wore a stormr typhoon jacket and rugged shark rubber boots. Layered up. Was always freezing. What's the best jacket/pair of boots to use when it is down right cold. Don't want to spend a fortune.
  6. Run 40 pound Jerry brown hollow on that reel. Great for tuna up to 150-200 pounds. Ghost hunter 150 is your best bet. About $300
  7. I have 3 van Staal rods, all 500 gram for bluefin tuna. Don't go through the trouble of emailing Van Staal direct. You need to contact Craig cantelmo who is the sales manager for Van Staal. He is a hell of a guy and gets every issue I've ever had with my reels or rods handled. Get that vsx200...I doubt anything will go wrong with it. Send it into whitewater every winter for service. Anything else goes wrong...contact Craig, he'll get it fixed.
