Oh, I get it - you are saying that your entirely off topic and completely personal post you made 24 hours before Dinghy's comment ABOUT your post should have also been edited...even though your post predated his.

 

So, in other words, you are using the "but he did it, too" defense...even though yours began the derailing of the discussion and his post was commenting on your posts.  As you know, when threads get derailed I look for where it started. In this case, it started with you doing exactly what you have asked others not to do - and now using the exact same "but he did it, too" excuse you know is meaningless - you started it.

 

Like you've said to others - worry about yourself, let the forum leaders/admins worry about everyone else. Stop derailing discussions with your off topic and personal crap. Thanks.

1.  I am not making any excuses -   please stop trying to prove it -   it's a waste of your time.    I own my posts regardless of your ongoing attempt to prove it the forum otherwise.  

2.   I quoted Dinghy,   one minute after he posted.  11:14 and 11:15 on April 19th.   You edited my post saying it was personal, while ignoring the post that was most certainly off topic and specifically personal.    If you really took the time to read my post to determine it as off topic personal,   it makes no sense that you wouldn't have also edited out the quote that specially called me out that I had quoted.  

Doing so sends mixed signals -   ala your often used "he deserved it"  excuse to let off topic personal posts stay when you don't like someone.

a 22" pealla pan can only go directly over the coals on a 22" weber.   

Use the initial high heat to do the initial frying of ingredients.  The lid will control the heat for an even distribution once the liquid is added.      On an akorn or BGE you can place the diffusion plate to when you close the lid to achieve even better even distribution. 

I find you want just enough coals to minimize the intensity of the initial heat, but sufficient to last the entire cook.

I never brine,    Inject  vinegar/juice maybe up to four hours in advance -  most times maybe an hour.   If you brine,   you defeat the purpose of the rub.   The brine will prevent the salt in the rub from working it's way into the meat.

I built four business lines from scratch at a financial firm, I sat of the board of nationally recognized charity,   I am a state bbq champion,     I have a special needs son, who instead of getting someone knocked up and turning it into a publicity boondoggle , took a path of self discovery, redefining the limitations of his affliction while earning his eagle scout and now attending college away from home  On more than one occasion, I cancelled important business trips and flew right home to support my son in times of trouble, as did his mother,  which is more than I can say about Ms Palin. 

Sarah Palin resume is nothing more than a documentation of the Peter Principal of 21st century politics.

I harbor no ill will toward Ms Palin and my criticism of her has nothing to do with her sex.   It has everything to do with her being an idiot and clown for the GOP.  She chose public life and intentionally makes her thoughts public for political gain.

This , I think,  is the the crux of the defense of the Obama executive orders.     They are not being pardon, they are just being treated as legally present for now-     since a new POTUS or even Obama himself can rescind the order.
