On Sunday night I was at a south shore beach. Mullet was definitely tight to the beach, water calm, practically no wind, full moon and clear skies. I managed to catch 2 stripers and lost two with the sp minnow. One of which was my first keeper of the year!(released to fight another day). Now that I'm reading this thread, a light bulb went off. Had my blue ss popper but didn't even think to throw it out there and now I'm seeing that those were pretty damn good conditions. Probably would have helped me to put some more fish on the beach. Still happy none the less and that's why I love stripers online. I always come across some helpful info. Tight lines!
