  1. Yup! ... ditch the lugs. They act like mini shovels on sand. Hooky
  2. TOO - Size restrictions were "not allowed to exceed 33 inches in diameter or 12.5 in width at any point... tires must be aired down to 1/2 max rated pressure." 1 - bigger isn't better 2 - aggressive treads not required 3 - deflated tires spread out and increase footprint and float on sand 4 - regular highway treads quite acceptable and won't rumble as you drive to and from 5 - experiment with deflation pressure a few pounds up or down can make a remarkable difference Enjoy! 5. Best I've ever seen was a letter from a lady who lives in Truro. She was very concerned about what would happen if a Tsunami hit Pilgrim Nuclear Plant. She had no clue that she would be part of the debris that would hit the plant.

  9. Remember also folks that these people who service/maintain the equipment are volunteers who help out. Not paid employees. If you see Mr. Gray on the beach, would you stop and thank him? Hummmm... perhaps they should install coin operated units? If you're a LIBBA member you get a free roll of tokens each year when you paid your dues. Hooky
  10. Goog - Even Ace Hardware has connectors and hoses. The connector is a industry standard 'M' male tip with female threading for the hose. There are about a dozen manufacturers. Hooky
  11. Another well done job by Montauk Surfcasters. Thanks go to the folks who showed up on this brisk and blustery day and helped out. Thanks for the lunch, Willy. Hooky
  12. With so many positive waves, how can we fail. Hooky
