  1. Welp...threw everything in the book this weekend. Plugs, metals, jigs, bunker, clams. Fished every part of the morning, afternoon, and night. Hit all the prime spots in cape may but had no luck. Few hits on a bucktail. Thanks for offering your spot. Would have been nice to fish with someone. I'm curious to see what happens in the next few weeks. good luck fellas

  2. Been pulling in small stripers ranging from 12-18 in or so on a regular basis on bloods and bunker at Augustine beach.  there has been maybe 3-5 good size keepers caught there in the past month so don't let anyone tell you they are there.  All bass I caught were at dead low tide. maybe 5-7 feet of water.  Good fun with light tackle.

  3.   I live in the town port penn and there has been a decent number of guys catching beautiful bass up to 40 inches.  Not extremely fat fish but 20-28lbs or so.  as of this past sat the water temp was 59.  ideal temp is around 50 this time of the year.  You will have better luck with fresh bunker although I've caught a handful of smalls 12-16inches on bloods. Giant catfish right now up to 15lbs or so.  Good luck

  4. I live right up the road from Augustine beach and have been fishing there and a few other spots for the past 2 weeks.  Few smalls all on fresh bunker, 14lb cat yesterday, tons of perch on bloods but no big bass yet. water temp is about 60-needs to be around 50.  And yes there are some sketchy areas around here especially if your not familiar.  I've always done good walking out on the jetty that juts out from reedy point. Very dangerous tho.  I've gotten trapped out there at high tide.

  5.     I live about a half mile away from Augustine beach and started going out every evening for the past week and a half.  So far I've caught a few small rocks, black puppy drum, and white perch all on bloods.  Fresh bunker is always good to use here, But don't get stuck on one thing.  Experiment with some bucktails or jigs around some of the rocky areas.  Because the creeks around here are packed with eels I'm giving that a go this weekend.  Just last week a guy caught a 40inch 24 pound bass at the beach so they are here just not many, yet...Good luck buddy!
