  1. Does anyone know the address and hours of operation for the Jones Beach Office? I want to pick up my night parking permit this week and I am not able to find the info online. Any help much appreciated!
  2. Perfect - thanks is again
  3. Thank you! That helps. I'll probably take a half day off work on Friday, get the permit and go fishing.
  4. Cindy is the person. I have the same rod that I needed a new guide for and she's the one that helped me 2 weeks ago. Luckily their HQ is in Mahwah NJ and I work 4 minutes from there so I just went there and picked up the guide.
  5. $150 no line shipped to 10920?
  6. Any updates on when these 13 seal and rotor brake 3000/4000 reels going to be sold in stores?
  7. I'm 6'2 190lbs and I've been paddling the new bonafide ss127 for about 2 months. I can stand up no problem, make hard casts, flyfish, etc...very stable. Would I do offshore with it, probably not, but only because I wouldn't want to paddle out that far but I wouldn't be afraid to use it for any inshore fishing.
  8. Sorry for your loss, RIP I'm im
  9. "Happy V-Day"
  10. I'd pay asking price if it's the XT version. My kayak is 33.5 wide
  11. if I didn't just buy a new kayak I'd be all over this - good luck with the sale
  12. Is the Tsunami still available? If so, I'd like to offer $60 for it if you can ship it to 10920. Thanks
  13. Just looking for some input. I'm in search of a new toy in a form of a fishing kayak. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with these Wilderness Systems Radar 115 or 135 kayaks in the salt or just some general feedback? I'll be fishing mostly lakes near my house and the sound with an occasional beach launch. Thanks
  14. Thanks for your input! Trying to decide on a vessel is tough sight unseen and there are so many options. The weight is definitely a deciding factor as I will be roof mounting this thing on my SUV.
  15. Had one of my best days fishing from the beach the Wednesday before Sandy Got on the beach at 7am and left at 1pm because my arms where about to fall off
  16. Really nice shape, very well maintained, never dunked! Smooth as the day I bought it. ($100) shipped and spooled with 50lb Suffix 832.

If I do get Castrax, then the boots would need to be about ~$70 because LL Bean's studded boot foot waders are $150 more than the stocking foot (hence if I use Castrax, then I have about $70 to spend on boots otherwise I should probably go with the boot foot waders). But again I dont mind spending a bit more as long as the stuff will last a very long time. Thanks guys. Also regarding waders..I'm a big advocate of the Orvis Sonicseam $230, but worth it! Welded seams, reinforced knees, extremely light and breathable. Instead of getting the Korkers KGBs get the better waders and get the $100 pair of Korkers

You should be able to do the Korkers, extra studded sole and wader for $250 if that is within your budget. The korkers omnitrack sole that you use is it the "studded rubber" one?

Sand gets into the tightening knob making it very hard to release. I had to remove the knob numerous times to get it to release. Korkers has a good pair of boots with the interchangeable sole and regular laces for about $100-$120. Wore a pair of Ultralights some years back, the boot is very bulky in the sole and they run a half size smaller than whats advertised.
  21. In any case the reel is still for sale I will only entertain $85 offers if its local pick up/drop off situation. I'm willing to drive 10-15 miles. Depending on the location and the drive I may go up to 20 miles. Otherwise $100 shipping included braid or no braid.
