    Braid Color

Wow, the orange looks good. What reels are those? Liking the smaller one.
  2. I have used TA clips for years, never had an issue. I do prefer a loop knot when fishing a bucktail.
  3. Yankee, wish I had one for you. You might want to post this in the hunting/shooting stuff forum as well. https://www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/forum/98-hunting-and-shooting-stuff/ Good Luck
  4. After tons of research I decided to go with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss on my 2018 Tundra. Ride great, no noise.
  5. I've been using the slim beauty or the Uni-Uni. This looks easier and quicker.
  6. Looks like a nice simple knot. Gotta play around with it.
  7. 3 snappers is ridiculous though.
  8. Donnmar CP212 "Big Game" Hook Sharpener
  9. Don't think I can post a link, but try Jignpop. The site says limited stock
  10. They're great when he can stay on topic. He gets so excited he sometimes wanders, LOL. It's pretty funny. Always enjoy listening to Bill.
  11. Mitchman, if you wouldn't mind passing on the contact info for Captain Jesus, that would be great. Might try to get a day on the boat. When you were there did you hit Marieta island?? Wife wants to do a trip, not sure if we want to hit hidden beach or not. still doing research. Thanks, Tony
  12. Mitchman, I have searching the web for info as well, Headed to Punta Mita end of Feb. I have found some info in trip Advisor and Bloody Decks. Not sure if I can post links, but do search will get you some info. I'm gonna keep looking, I'll let you know if I find anything good.
  13. I saved the article way back when. I actually built the rod 15-20 years ago, ended up giving it away since it sat in the rack unused for the past 10 years. It was a fun rod to fish. The Montauk Eel Rod.pdf
  14. Same here! I agree, nice shop, good people.
  15. I've used PP and Suffix in the past. But that was about 15 years ago.
  16. Tight lines, Bill! Very generous of you!!
  17. I've taken 4-5 rods in a Plano Airliner. It's a little smaller than the bazuka. I swapped the pins out for bolts ans lock nuts.
  18. I tried the 20# SuperPower braid on a fluke set up. I didn't like it. I don't remember why, its been a few years. I took it off after one or 2 uses.
  19. Our last trip to the Osa was in 2017. We flew into Puerto Jimenez, rented a vehicle and drove to Drake Bay. It wasn't a terrible drive, slow, bumpy, lots of hills, but I was fine with it. I did overhear other people complaining about the drive, but I thought it was fine, definitely more challenging than what is considered normal in the states. If I remember correctly there were 4 river crossings. The first 3 weren't much, that last one was much more than I expected. The agent at the rental car told me how to take the crossing, but I wasn't 100% on the instructions so I pulled off to the side for a few minutes and looked it over. Fortunately a dirt bike came down the road. I watched him get about 1/3 of the way across, saw how high the water was on his tires and followed his trail/wake, LOL.
