For those that currently fish 16-18”’ riggies, what rod are you using?
-
Rivers End, Fishin Factory 3, and J&H are my favorites in Connecticut. Ted’s stays open late in the summer and has fresh bunker.

What’s the size and weight on the Beachmasters?
-
I’d like the following: 8 black flags 8 white flags

See a chiropractor or osteopathic specialist as others have mentioned. Icy hot, heating pads and blunts treat the symptoms. You need to get to the root cause.

What’s the length?

Respectfully offer $56.

Were these made in 2015/2016? Do you know the length?

Definitely a Mega Shad. I prefer a Sluggo over a Mega Shad for most scenarios because of the erratic and unpredictable side-to-side movement. But the Mega Shad has a time and place. As someone previously mentioned, boulder fields with current and a slow retrieve will get the Mega Shad tail moving very realistically to a baitfish swimming along the coastline in shallow water.

I’m looking for some recommendations in regards to locking my kayak when it is being stored at my home. What is a safer option, cable or chain?

For a beginner keep it very simple. The following lures work daytime and night time. Swin shads (Tsunami & Storm), Keitech soft plastics on a 1/4 ounce or 1/2 oz jig head, and SP minnows. You DEFINITELY will catch a few. Don’t be afraid to try a different spot after an hour or two. Moderate retrieve and no need to worry about twitching them or switching up the cadence, let the lure do the work.

Photos and no doubt released. You don’t need to put the fish on a scale, it’s not a record.
