  1. As title states, I'm looking for a black VS200 spool in good condition.
  2. I slayed fluke and BSB off Soco last season. I'd be more worried about the dozen draggers running back and forth from WH to PJ April - November wiping out everything in their paths.
  3. Get rid of 'em now while they're in high demand. Won't be long til there are no stripers left
  4. I got a blank and built it to my preference. I was on the fence between this and the 4-8, but am glad I stayed with the 3-6. I can't speak for all the s7 series rods, but this rod really won't load anything less than 4oz. It is light and very powerful
  5. For what it's worth, I have the s7 3-6oz 11' and it is an absolute beast. I lay into it with 6oz jigs and it's definitely got plenty more to go. In my opinion it is a moderate fast action.
  6. Don't think about it too much. Get out and fish when you can. When you have a good outing, make note of those conditions. You're missing good bites if you're trying to line everything up to what you would think are ideal conditions - the fish may think differently. This season has been funky, my go to conditions that provided many solid fish the past few years have led to numerous skunks this season.
  7. Don't rule out this new moon. I think a few more cows will swing by. I'll be there
  8. I don't think anyone is being dishonest. We are just saying they have improved this year, which is completely true. Maybe make some suggestions to the owner...he is very approachable and wants to cater to people. I'm sure he'll get some superstrike/northbar stuff in there next year to tickle everyone's fancy. Besides, they have eels, gami live bait HD hooks, and leader material. What more do ya need?
  9. I think @nalu22 should be the judge of this I really don't want a plug from anyone, but I am willing to give a plug to someone in here that needs it! Just say word..
  10. Don't mean to stir the pot, your fish is clearly bigger! If we were dealing with 45"+ fish it would be a different story , but those don't exist in RI anymore
  11. The title is a dramatization, although there definitely are plenty of people beating up the rats
