  1. Hi- Can anyone recommend a general contractor that will do smaller jobs? We have been having water issues around an in wall air conditioner. It has been patched/leak proofed a few times but it comes back over time. I think we need to have the air conditioner taken out /re-seated etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Getting a hook in my thumb that is... Was out the other morning off the beach and started to catch - 3 blues on 3 casts. Thought to myself "I should change to a single hook lure" . But did I listen?? NO- I kept on throwing that plug with 2 trebles on it. Unhooking fish # 4 and it flipped out, impaling my thumb on the front hook while it was still on the rear hook. Managed to finally get the fish off and clipped the hook with the mini bolt cutters I carry. Headed off to the emergency room where the could not push it thru so I now have 3 stitches. Kicking myself pretty good here- have unhooked hundreds of blues with no issue. What a dumb*** I am!!!
  3. Hi- Can anyone recommend someone to take care of the roof issue I am having? We are getting moss/lichens on some areas of the roof that get little direct sunlight. I have tried a chemical from the hardware store with not too good a result. Would like to find a way to permanently stop it from growing. Thanks! Larry
  4. Take a look at the Tsunami composite rods. Don't know the model # but it is 7'. Have used it for cbass, fluke and porgies- light enough to have fun with the fish but enough backbone to handle 6-8 oz sinker.
  5. I have used them- a few bass but the blues loved them (although what don't they?). They cast well, are easy to work slow and seem to hold up.
  6. Biscuit- I have been using my tog sticks off block and found them fine. I have a Seeker BA85 and a Daiwa Sealine- the seeker has much more feel as the Daiwa is a bit of a pool cue. Using them both with Newells and 50# PP. There is also an 8' Ugly Stick that I see a lot of the guys using.
