  3. Well i usually try to go fishing before work and try and catch the morning run, well one day, I went out to the pier to fish, and about 7:30 the bite was on and and didnt stop. I was scheduled to work at 10, so about 9:30 I called my boss and told him that I couldnt make it into work today because I had to take my girlfriend to the doctor because she was sick and couldnt drive. None the less, I believe he knew what was up because the next day, he asked me if i caught any fish. Definitely caught me by suprise, and I told him I caught a few and that Id give him some. Now I dont even have to lie about going fishing as long as I give him some fish that I catch. SWEET!!! I ended up with my limit of king macks and 6 stud spanish macks, Along with 4 bonita that released back in the water that day. (edited - in eligible as member was banned - TimS)
  4. id trade someone spools, handle or if anyone wanted to trade the entire reel, that would work too. I said if someone had a black reel, but now that i think about it,ti grey would be even better. I just saw kimboys in his other thread and that ti grey looks nice. let me know, thanks
  5. are the bodies the same size? I'm looking to downsize. I'm also looking for a stock handle with the circle knob. I have an accurate knob with dual ball bearings on mine.
  6. I have a black second generation ZX27 that was serviced a little bit over a year ago. It only has single manual but its in good condition, there is a little paint loss near the foot of the reel, not really noticable. I would like to trade it for a ZX25, the 27 is really nice, but might be a little much for what im using it for. Please let me know if you are interested in trading, would like to stay with the black color, but i will keep my options open. Pics are available upon request for anyone who is interested. Thanks guys!!!

Tight lines. yeah i think im going with the vs150... found one for a decent price. Thanks
  12. Funny you posted this thread. I was thinking about this the other day, its happen to me a few times. Just going off all weekend. By the way, those are some really nice pics? what camera?
  13. i hear what you are saying, im really leaning towards picking this reel up, unless i can find a vs150 for about 400-450. Thats my price range, but the cheaper the better. Do you know when the manual kit is coming out? thanks
  14. I always used PP on all my reels, and i really liked it. Then i decided to spool my Z up with white sufix 832 and turns out that i like that more than PP. Cast farther too. Only downfall is its just a bit more expensive.
  15. Ive been looking at the VM150 to put on my 8' Rainshadow, im really liking what i see and hear about it. my question is, has anyone ever cut the bail wire, making it into a manual? Or does anyone know it would turn out. Ive seen people do it to other reels. I was reading about everyone making it a manual bail, but what about the bail wire? Can anyone chime in? Thanks
