  • What I do for a living:
    road work
  1. I know what my dad would say that's why I didn't ask him. Looking for unbiased opinion. I been told the duramax does better than 20 mpg a little better than the ford, even the f150.
  2. The gmc was used this winter as the dealerships plow truck it has 70 miles on it I wonder how that will affect it in the long run. Pushing snow with out any chance to break in. The ford has less bells and wistle's auto, ac and 4x4 that's it but that's what I like.
  3. Ford or GMC both regular cab 3/4 ton only 30 a month difference in price the gmc has a few more options. What's your opinions?
  4. nevermind devince, the saltfish board came to you they're a helpful bunch. donovan
  5. Might wanna try asking that on the delmarva saltfish board. They're mostly boat fisherman from that area. they can answer any questions you might have as far as boat shops in that area.
  6. that 24 ft sea chaser for $29,999.00 is a steal with a 300 hp yamaha. Carolina skiff makes a solid boat and unlike alot of boat maker's sea chaser quality seems to be improving every year from reviews i've been reading.
  7. Great picture's Allen. Shame the beach isn't as clean and smooth as it was back then, look's like the city dump some days now. Donovan
  8. Thanks guys and congrats to everyone who had luck this weekend. And a special thanks to poppy and swenson and possum house and all the other knowledgable anglers who share the tricks of the trade on this site and on the beach in conversation. And finally thanks to my dad for letting that one go by for me to catch, you can stop doing that now. Oh yeah if the person from jersey with the little yellow import pick up is here, there is absolutely no need for dual rollbar spotlights plus high beams when driving down the beach at on coming traffic. Use your head!
  9. that's interesting. Thanks for the info
  10. Skip from skip's tackle told me his brother caught a red drum in front of the oc coast guard station last week. Where did that come from? maybe the same place as the 50# cobia that was caught in the bay a couple weeks ago.
  11. Carolina skiff 2180 dlx boat motor trailer brand new around 15 k tough as nails cheap to operate good to fish from as long as you don't need to go to far off shore
  12. fished ai sat pm and sunday am lot's of blues a few sharks saturday afternoon. this morning i caught what i think was a pompano it was shaped like a panfish dark grey on the very top sides were very white with yellow on the bottom of the tail fin and on the fins on it's belly it was about 8 to 10 inches.
  13. i was at the oci saturday night 10:30 till 2 something it did get crowded quick sam most of them didn't even have rods they were using soda bottle's and 20 feet of line. catchin small blues seemed like a bite on every other cast started out with storm lures they got chewed up fast started throwin windcheaters brought a few in.
  14. well said shaggy, I'd have to think long and hard to find a place i'd rather be than on AI at sunset with a beer in my hand and a line in the water. And that's in november without a bite all day. throw in 60 degrees or better and forget about it. fishing is a bonus i'm just happy to be there.
  15. oh yeah thanx for the tip gil never knew about that one
