  1. I was wondering what the major differences are between these 2 reels. Does the Back Bay have the same sizing as the Ballistic (true to size)? Any performance gains in one over the other? Thanks!
  2. I am not sure if this is what you are referring to, but Aqua Dream Living makes some pretty nice salt water spinners! I use them for inshore species. I am not affiliated in any way to them, I just use the lures. https://aquadreamliving.com/collections/surestrike-straight-runner
  3. Has the reel been registered? I know these come with some great service from Daiwa...
  4. Thanks! I figured it was my technique. And yes, it is crazy smooth! It is definitely the smoothest I have ever owned. I will definitely try with the handle down. Thanks for the tip.
  5. Hey all. I have a 2019 Certate and have been less than impressed with the reel while casting. Although it is smooth as butter reeling, I have experienced the bail closing while casting on both the 3 and 4k. Has anyone else experienced this?
  6. Sold payment recieved! Thnx SOL and NYNistler
  7. In my experience with rods, the USPS has had the best prices. Depending on distance, between $10-$20 is my average. FedEx is $30+ for the same distance. I usually go to Lowes and get a carpet tube and cut to length. Good luck with sell! Both are very nice.
  8. Sorry for the late reply! PM sent.
  9. I am going to have to turn your offer down. Thank you though.
  10. Do you anything you can throw in to sweeten the pot? Line, inshore stuff?
  11. Looking to buy 2 Shimano Speedmaster IV reels in new or like new condition. I know someone has a couple sitting around in the box never used =)
  12. I will keep your offer in mind.
  13. Selling a Van Staal VS150B, serial number 8940. I purchased from the original owner a few months ago. He had done the yearly maintenance to the reel and it is in excellent condition. It comes with the original papers, box and bag, and with both the original handle and a VS Power Handle. Reel is a 9 cosmetic/10 mechanical. I have only used it a couple time myself and it has never been dunked. Spooled with 30lb PP. $500PP shipped firm NO TRADES
