If you have never been to kuaia, don't think too much about fishing and enjoy all the great things to do there with family. It's an amazing island

I've been there, gorgeous area. I saw a some guys fishing the surf in ogonquit. If you take a walk away from the crowds you'll find Rocky coves that hold fish.

Not much action on the fly..there are peacocks in the reservoirs up in the hills. The TU chapter is very helpful, contact them. Bones....buy some squid, put em in an old sock on the shoreline to bring em in.

At 68 degrees I stop targeting trout. Not sure how oxygenation will contribute to survival but if you play the fish too long and the water is too warm....no bueno
