The build is on hold until the blank and builder pops up.

It would be very cool to have a black cork grip but i agree it6s probably not realistic.

Burnt cork rings come in some pretty dark shades. Just picked up a set of KW's for a winter build, gunsmoke gray frames/sic inserts. Not black but I'm going the same look as you and I like em, close enough.

Yeah no. Jake had the chance to be the “Seaver” that wasn't run out of Queens. A Met legend. I’m a Met fan ultimately, not a DeGrome fan. If he didn't even give the Mets a chance to match $, then F-him all the more. Ran away from the challenge of bringing a trophy here. I hope Harvey pitches better going forward.

Cohen would've paid him, just wouldn't commit to a 5yr deal given his age and injury history, smart move on his part. Sad it's not a sport anymore, grew up in Flushing, been a Met fan all my life. I have zero expectations so never get too choked up about any pro sports game. Most pro athletes have no integrity and no class anymore. DeGrom could've stayed, F him is right....

They’ll sell like hotcakes. The high end fly crew isn’t affected by the tough times.

ps - Sage should say it’s an ultra hi-tech rod only suitable for the bestest of the best.

Yep, market as only for the best of casters...won't be able to keep them on the shelves

I would say hardly worth the effort. If you recycle the the lead great. You can get lead for free from any tire/automotive shop.

A bucktail that has been in the water even for a short period of time is useless as the hook will be compromised.

Sale of lead wheel weights has been outlawed in NY for years, all tin now. Still some old stock around but dwindling. I agree the bucktails will be useless.

Two guns I will never part with are my 20 and 34.  I like the look of Glocks.  And they are really easy to work on.

Not knocking the gun at all, got a few myself, just saying they're nothing to look at, and too many guys do the plug and play parts swap and call em custom builds...nothing custom about it and every oem part removed usually detracts from the reliability that made them so attractive in the first place. Nobody buys a Glock cause it looks sexy, at least nobody that intends on using it for serious work.

  8. Google shotshell cards, use them to customize any pouch you desire. The 6 shell holder fits perfectly in the Tactical Anglers pouch, 6 bucktails neatly arranged in order, room for a couple more or loose shads without crowding. Front pocket holds a small fly box filler with teasers and a few pre tied dropper leaders. If I'm not fishing teasers the front pocket gets a bag full of grubs or curlytails. All in $25....carries all you need for a full tide. Not paying $100 for a pouch, then overstuffing it to the point I have to cinch my belt so tight that it cuts off circulation to my legs when hiking the beach. , Certain days it's all I carry, plug bag stays in the truck. Pleasure to walk, cast, travel light.
