That same 8 weight line still gets used once in a while even after all these years. $16 shipped to CONUS. Paypal is fine. My apologies in advance but prices are firm... Well...I guess unless there is a compelling reason such as multiple purchases either shipped and/or for local meet-up (NYC Metro and Fort Lee, NJ areas). I'd be willing to meet-up for a minimum purchase of 3 lines. Thank you very much.
  4. Hi there Bendmar18: I hope all is well and you are keeping safe... In addition to the update below, off the top of my head, I have an Orvis Wonderline Advantage WF-6-F in new condition. It's pretty much a standard do-it-all type of line. I'll have to take another look but I'm guessing $29 will take it. Thank you very much.
  5. Hi there Juan Nabers.. I hope all is well and you are keeping safe! Sold to you: 8) SA MASTERY TARPON WF-10-F. New with box. Please check PM for Paypal details. If by chance you send payment in the morning, it may still be possible to ship in the AM. Thank you very much.

  8. Hi there and I hope you/loved ones are keeping safe. I am reluctantly offering up my beloved 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country (affectionately dubbed the “Millennium Falcon” by my friends) for sale. I’d been conjuring all sorts of “practical” reasons to hold on to the truck for quite some time but my significant other recently reminded me that perhaps it’s more due to the passing memories of our puppy (albeit an 11 year old 90 pounder) and best fishing buddy…. In any event here are some specs and history: - 4.0L Inline 6 cylinder, 4 wheel drive, fully loaded - The truck has not been driven since November of 2019 - Mileage: 224,094 - For about 10 years, the truck was basically parked in a Manhattan in-door parking garage when not in use… eventually the Manhattan prices got a little out of hand - Recent and/or major work: 1) Transmission replaced in 2008 at around 170K miles. The work was performed by my trusted mechanic at the time, a distant uncle who worked with a transmission specialist. The original transmission still had some life left but the fluid was beginning to darken. Since I was planning to hold onto the car for… basically forever… I decided to preempt problems and just get it done. The truck was driven on the beach exactly 6 times on the original transmission, and only once on the new one. In the photos, there is a 2006 Island Beach State Park sticker. I purchased the pass but then realized how packed the beach was on my first trip…which sorta defeated the purpose. I never went back. 2) July 2018 / 212,638 miles: New battery + rebuilt terminal connections 3) October 2018 / 214,789 miles: New tie rod arms 4) October 2018 / 214,789 miles: New brakes + rotors 5) April 2019 / 219,621 miles: Front end bar 6) April 2019 / 219,621 miles: New shocks (4) 7) June 2019 / 221,100 miles: New exhaust + brackets 8) August 2019 / 222,000 miles: New coolant hose - By November 2020, at around 224,000 miles, the following became potential repair needs: 1) New tires 2) Coolant leak due to possible freezer plug wear 3) Radiator 4) Water pump 5) Engine oil leak – very small with the difference negligible between oil changes. My mechanic said no point in repairing It would have been my pleasure to pay for the repairs but I basically got bullied into purchasing a new car. - Exterior: In 2014, I replaced the rear bumper and right side quarter panel as some nimrod did a hit-and-run. I suppose due to age, the rear hatchback can sometimes “stick”, requiring a little jiggle of the handle and door to release/open. In addition, there are some minor scrapes and a minor ding or two. - As for the all-leather interior, there are some tears on the rear upholstery (courtesy of the pup), and a small tear on the driver’s side seat. The screws need to be replaced on the lid of arm rest/console. I replaced all of the floor mats in April 2019. - The truck’s current status: As I believed back in November that I would most likely need to make the repairs described above, my mechanic thought to try using a sealant to prevent coolant leakage from freezer plugs. When I drove it home that night, it was raining very hard and I noticed that steam was coming off from below the hood, and there was some more coolant leakage upon parking. I think it’s possible that the leak was coming from the radiator which I was planning to replace anyways. Well, I ended up purchasing a new car instead. Even though the battery is relatively new, since I hadn’t driven in over 6 months, the truck needed a “jump” to get started and a couple of minutes of lightly pressing the gas pedal to get it idling on its own. I then drove it just to move from one parking spot to another. I was originally holding out for an elderly couple who wanted to purchase the truck and make the repairs for local driving. Unfortunately, the husband just passed away. I was then set on selling the truck to one of the commercial outfits in the area (northern NJ) but thought I’d give the forum a try for a day or so. If no interest, then I’ll move onto a commercial buyer. - Price: $800 (basically to offset some of the most recent repairs described above). I’ve received quotes from commercial buyers between $500 and $1,000, so I’m targeting the midpoint. It’s probably best to have the truck towed to a driveway first just in case of more coolant leaks, and then decide what to do next. If you have AAA, perhaps it’s possible to have them tow to a convenient location. The Thule roof rack system is not included. The way I looked at this truck (until I got sabotaged) was that if I made the repairs and got another 30K miles, it would have been more than worthwhile. Thank you very much.
  9. HI there FishCat1: I hope all is well and you are keeping safe. Thanks for your interest. If for whatever reason the buyer decides to send back then I will let you know. Thank you very much.
