It's just the simple hi-lo rig using 20-30 lb test mono and 8 or 1/0 gama octopus circle hooks. Work just as well or better as the store bought rig.

Went out today (I guess Atlantic county) on a very popular jetty. Got there around 7 am with only 1 other person on the jetty. Started to get on kingfish right away and they were biting throughout the day (left around 1pm). What surprised me the most was a BONITO on my little kingfish rig. I switched to a kastmaster and landed two more. I've never seen it caught at the spot nor have I ever caught one before. Water was clean and clear with hardly any wave action.

Anyone know of an affordable Swing-away or hinged cargo rack. The idea is of course, so you can move the cooler/cargo away to access the back. I can find it online but going for $399. Am in SNJ if anyone know a place. Thanks in advance.
