  1. "Preaching Disasters" is the PC replacement for "political savvy."
  2. Amen. I would add : and make laws that attach consequences to curtail actions of which most would say "there should be a law against that."
  3. Seal, the Chihuahuas are Olympians in comparison. They dance up and down while doing a lot barking, but they are really fast and agile. They'll sucker bite your ankles the instant you take your eyes off of them.
  4. Maybe this is just another pseudo scare by scummy liberals hoping to take money from folks; but, if it's not and it causes a volcanic winter, this will prove that the climate change thing was hoax by liberals.
  5. Cavalier King Charles dogs create less anxiety for police conducting a drug raid—and, they are smaller targets that can more easily seek cover than pit bulls.
  6. Holding good thoughts for you Steve.
  7. Short a bunch of these, for a scary circus.
  8. Important discussion thread here. Seriously!
  9. He's no politician. Let's see how he does: When you’re up to your neck in alligators, it’s easy to forget that the initial objective was to drain the swamp.
  10. Bread basket for sweetbreads.

  12. I had an outside vault that was paved-over; I began receiving billing on averaged readings. I said nothing, waiting to see how long it would take the utility to ask of themselves what was up with actual readings no longer being taken. It took a number of years and cost me several hundred when they also discovered that their estimated "average" had been on the low side.
  13. jimmythe bee, thank you for that little bit of history. I’m more ignorant than am I very trusting. If one remains cynical, he can retain more self-esteem through learning what he hadn’t realized, than through realizing he is too stupid to learn the value of objectivity.
  14. I am that smart--in may own mind (almost). I'm not as smart as Trump though, because I don't see why he mistrusts our US intelligence and security agencies unless he is smarter than them. I guess maybe he is smarter than them. When I was 10 or 12, I was disallowed participation in an adventure we neighborhood kids had planned: Dumb parents! I was smart enough to hide my adventures with smoking cigarettes.
