  1. Itching to get started !!!
  2. I agree with onthefish method. I use a lathe to start and put the smaller bit in the chuck as far as it can for straightness. I also found older bits wonder and cause issues.
  3. The Top Water Challenge: You make 3 Top water plugs - all the same. Can be a pencil popper, wide mouth popper, spook, etc. No lips allowed. The plug needs to be at least 6 inches long or more You must take a video of the plug once it is complete to show the action of the plug and post it to this thread Everyone votes on the Best Plug (ex. Action, shape, paint, look, etc) Winner of the best plug gets 1 plug from each builder including keeping one that won the remainder plugs (2 ea) will be random drawing and treated like a plug swap until everyone has selected 2 choices. This will start June 1st and end on August 31st. Starting on a 9/1 we will vote and do the swap on the other 2 plugs. Who's in?

  20. Great stuff guys. Just put the hooks on mine. Pics and video will be done tomorrow. Dont foregt to to email me pics and videos so I can put them all in one post.
  21. Sorry ADTR14. I would extend but October’s are really busy for me. I’ll be doing some more challenges this winter.
  22. Like said above. The mix ratio and/or time mixed could have been off. I only use 150 after turning to prep, then 220 after primer. Too smooth, nothing to stick to. Once primer is on, I never touch the plug with bare hands. (Rubber gloves). The oils in your hands can have an effect on the epoxy too.
  23. Lol. I have a few little critters too. I call them “scent” enhancers.
  24. Sorry you guys have to drop out. Put out the second coat of epoxy on today, they’re still spinning. Lol. I’ll be ready for next Sunday.
