  1. (2) Star Handcrafted 6'6" 30-50# roller stripper and tip with single speed TLD 25’s loaded with 40# momoi and 80# wind ons.  The reels have upgraded carbon fiber drag washers and power handles.  The rods have intact foam grips and an Aluminum gimbal butt.  These were used for school bluefin tuna trolling south of Block Island for two seasons and caught fish up to 65” and 150lbs.  The length makes them ideal for trolling in the long rigger position out of a gunnel rod holder on a smaller boat without outriggers pulling narrow side trackers.

    (2) Star Handcrafted 5'9” 16-30# roller stripper and tip with single speed TLD 25’s loaded with 40# momoi and 60# wind ons.  The rods have intact foam grips and an Aluminum gimbal.  These were used for striped bass trolling umbrellas, T-man tubes, mojos, and large soft plastics.

    (3) Okuma Custom Black 6'6" 20-40# with Okuma SLX20 reels.  These combos are made exclusively for West Marine and retail for $150ish now.  If I remember correctly, they were well above $200 when I purchased them.  Two are loaded with 30# Berkeley Big Game, the other is empty.  These were bought for mahi trolling but are unfished.  One setup has been on a few boat rides.

I am asking $900 for the entire package, or $700 for the four Star combos and $300 for the Okumas.  I will entertain reasonable offers.  I would prefer local pickup, but shipping can be arranged in the CONUS.  These would outfit a boat nicely for inshore and light offshore trolling.  Thank you for your consideration and Happy Holidays.

  2. Hi SOL, I'm thinning the herd as I've found myself doing more and more boat fishing, especially for pelagics.  These are all lightly used with tons of life left.  Fixter pencil is ~3.5oz and has a small paint chip near the tail, 2oz Afterhours pencil, 2oz Beachmaster darters, WOOD Northbar bottledarters, 3.7oz RM senior troller, and a 1.5oz RM no name swimmer.  I will only sell these as a lot, no splits.  $160 shipped CONUS PayPal preferred.  Thanks for looking.

  3. I have a pair that have been well used over 1.5 seasons that I would let go fairly cheaply as I would like a larger size for pelagics.  These were my surfcasting/wetsuit pliers.  The jaws are well aligned, but the bottom of the sheath is bent from storage and the cutters could probably use replacement.  The sheath is also discolored as I wore these wetsuiting.  I can provide pictures if you're interested.

  4. I’m moving... again... and I’m tired of lugging this stuff around without anywhere to properly setup and use it.  What you see is what you get.  Turncrafter Pro missing some paint but functioning perfectly, Full set of turning chisels, older Craftsman belt sander, bits for through drilling and forstner bits for clean eye and belly holes, tons of weights, lips, eyes, grommets, some wire and brushes, and turning stock including poplar, maple, hickory, Alaskan yellow cedar, western red cedar, white cedar, and misc unfinished plug bodies (some by me, some purchased from S@lty’s).  Asking $200 picked up obo.  Will also trade for a Shimano TLD 30 2 speed.  I need all this stuff gone within the week.  Thanks for looking.

He’s a member here, I’ll tell him to login and post “I’ll take it” so you can rest easy tonight.  “Haggling” and working out the logistics of picking something up that you haven’t committed to purchasing yet seems a little backwards, no?  I don’t care if you decide to :niffty: it or solicit a mod, but ffs don’t throw a tantrum over a fishing rod.

It's not right. Been haggling with a friend and  daughter re/ arranging a Cape meet / pick-up. Tim S & Co. have guidelines for good reasons.

    now I'll ....:niffty: it.

Ah, I see... so if I have anything posted for sale here it can’t be sold word of mouth?  If you’d expressed interest and told me you were working to arrange pickup, I would’ve held it for you in the meantime.  I’ve been a member here for over ten years and I’m well aware of the rules.
