  1. Thanks! Another fun Day. I will get food pics next time.
  2. Yesterday morning started out sunny and calm so I stopped on my way to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and took a couple sunrise pictures. Factory Point before sunrise. Chesapeake Bay Deadrise at Sunrise. My friend Rob on his Jet Ski at sunrise. A couple other boats I saw around the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel. Wind and rain picked later in the morning. I caught seven Tautog using live fiddler crabs for bait. Kept two for dinner tonight. Skis are all fueled and cleaned up for next time.
  3. Or at least in a tree! Ha! I was standing in my back yard taking a picture of a Female Osprey when out no where a Male Osprey decided to fly in for a little "Afternoon Delight" Here are some of the pictures I just took. 4. Windy and overcast the last couple of days. Hopefully in the next week I will be hitting the Islands and piles of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel looking for Tautog, should be happening soon! I have of course still been taking pictures around my house. This time of year there are new critters arriving daily now that Spring is finally here. Here are a couple. Couple Ospreys around my house. I call this one "Fly Softly and Carry a Big Stick" [img= http://www.stripersonline.com/content/type/61/id/1881285/] [img= http://www.stripersonline.com/content/type/61/id/1881287/] [img= My first picture of a Tri-colored Heron at my house. http://www.stripersonline.com/content/type/61/id/1881289/] Great Blue Heron on my dock. [img= I took this picture in February off of Cape Henry Virginia. At the time I did not know what kind of bird it was, come to find out it is a rare Thick-billed Murre. I have been asked to allow this picture to be published in the Virginia Society of Ornithology's quarterly journal. Pretty Cool! http://www.stripersonline.com/content/type/61/id/1881291/]
  5. Yes, the Typhoons were on training with Langley AFB. I noticed no markings also.
  6. I was using a 55-300mm lens. I am about 10 miles from an air port. A couple time a year I see these planes flying low over my house. I am told they are practicing approaches.
  7. Every day is different! She was coming in for a landing today but soon realized my air strip was not long enough! They aborted and just made a couple fly overs. Today in my back yard.
