  1. I know that these are hard to find, but I’m looking for a conversion kit for my Sig P229R for 22LR. Just figured I’d check to see if someone has one that they’re willing to part with. Edit: No longer looking. Thank you
  2. NJ?
  3. ......
  4. And yes, I do have one. It’s a very accurate gun and a great shooter.
  5. The great thing about the P320 is the versatility. You can buy a compact and easily convert it to a full size gun in under a minute while reusing the fire control unit. The P320 is a great platform to work with, and once you have an FCU, you can easily mix and match parts for it and have a gun for any need. I believe that it’s much more versatile than the 365.
  6. First, you need to decide on what you will do with the upper. Will it be just target shooting, or do you plan on hunting with it some day? For just target shooting, 9mm is a cheaper option ammo wise. If you plan on hunting with it, there are some things to consider. 300BO is a subsonic load and the effective range is somewhat diminished. 6.5 Grendel is an effective load at longer ranges, but you really need a longer barrel to maximize its potential. 6.5 has also had issues with bolts breaking, and the hunting ammo is somewhat limited and expensive. Another option is the 6.8spc. It was designed by the military to replace the .556 and be a great intermediate round between that and the 7.62. It was also developed for short barrels and shows great results from 16” barrels or even less. That is the round of choice for many hog hunters down south hunting with 10-12” barrels. Ammo still isn’t cheap, but less than the 6.5 and there are many choices available. Once a decision has been made on the caliber, then you can decide on what to do with the upper. More than likely it will be easier to replace the entire upper and sell the one that you have. However, depending on what you decide to go with, you may have to replace the barrel and the bolt on your upper depending on availability of your choice. It really is not a hard job for someone with the right tools to do it. Literally less than an hour to do. Decide what you want to shoot and go from there.
  7. I have a practically new Sig P320 X5 legion that I might be looking to part with. I made an impulse buy and have decided to go in a different direction.
  8. Good luck with your surgery.
  9. Sorry ReelSharp.
  10. No problem. Thank you.
  11. I’ll take it for $200 shipped. PM me details for payment. Thank you.
  12. I’m a member of their VIP program as well and can’t say enough good things about them. They will always have my business.
  13. As long as it gets the job done. Looks good to me.
  14. I never use bucktails with pork for Bass. I only target bluefish when using bucktails and pork rind with a standard J hook...
  15. The home quarantine is just a start. Before you know it, it will be a mandatory quarantine at a government facility.
  16. I used wearbars studs on my felt lined boots years ago. They grab like a SOB and you still get the comfort of wearing a boot.
  17. Like others have said AR10’s can be finicky since they are not made to be mil spec. I would buy a complete rifle from a reputable builder who will stand behind it in case it needs to be sent back for an issue. I would not build one from scratch. If you need to build one, go with an AR15 in another caliber. .308 is only AR10
  18. I’ll pass this on it. I didn’t realize the platform was damaged.
  19. It looks like an old Viper. I’ll take it if it’s still available.
  20. Since we’re on the subject of Leupold and being an old soldier, I just wanted to mention that they have a VIP program for Vets, Active Military, LE, and government employees to buy direct from them at a pretty good discount in case you weren’t aware.
  21. I love my mini 14, but they’re not cheap. Mine is a unicorn 6.8 spc, but a lot more common in 223.
  22. I’d go with something in 223, if it’s going to be just for target shooting. A lot of guns to choose from in that caliber and fun to shoot. And in these times, 223 is probably the most available. Light recoil and very accurate.
  23. I will get out eventually. Just can’t do it just yet.
  24. It’s too bad that they won’t ship to NY, and not even to my FFL.
  25. He bought that from the Montauk Star last winter. I heard a rumor that a contractor that the Celtic Quest pissed off bought the boat and put it there out of spite. Don’t know how much truth there is to that, but the Timothy J doesn’t sail much at all. I think the Capt was a mate on the Capt Bob.
