  1. If the Rio Intouch is an intermediate sink line I'll take it.
  2. Herb: I'll take the RIO OB WF long head #12 I Thanks
  3. The Blind Spot Detection system on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee will sometimes temporarily shut down as I drive down the beach. I think it's caused by the sand being thrown up by the tires confusing the sensors or it thinks they are dirty. The system returns to normal on the next start.
  4. I like the Rio Outbound 10 weight at 425 gr. for this rod. The full 37' head version, not the short. It's a shame they don't make them 120' long anymore.
  5. A waterproof hand held GPS can be very helpful to get you back to shore the way you got out there. Even on a clear day you can find that there's deeper water behind you as you start your way back.
  6. That rods is designed for a 425 grain line. The original Rio Outbound 425gr 10wt with the 37' head works well on that rod.
  7. Try to find and download "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware". The latest verssion

  9. I was getting that same type of knot with a VS200 that had developed an excessive hourglass shape on the spool. It was a single loop tied in the line about a 1/4" in diameter. Having the line re-spooled properly on the machine eliminated the problem.
  10. Get the Stellar Lite. It's a very versatile rod with a good warranty at a great price.
  11. You might want to look into this product from Sea to Summit: Field Repair Buckle Sea to Summit Field Repair Buckles are an easy and permanent solution for broken buckles. The design allows you to repair broken buckles, using only a screwdriver. As an added benefit, there is no need to take it to have replacement buckles sewn on when back from the field. Several Sea to Summit dry bags feature Field Repair Buckles: Stopper Dry Bags, Clear Stopper Dry Bags, Hydraulic Dry Bags.
  12. Had stripers in the river behind the beach in August, below the Beach St. bridge. Fish it in the evening after the beach crowd leaves.
  13. It probably has the The NP242 Selec-Trac transfer case which has a full time and part time 4x4 capability along with 4 lo,. In full time 4wd you can use it on dry roads.
  14. "I had a striper spool me with the drag locked completely down on a sx" It could be the line slipping on the spool. I have two friends with Avets that bitched about the drag and both found out it was a line slippage problem, nothing was wrong with the reel. Go to the Warranty section of the Avet website for more info on this issue.
  15. I'm using a Terez TZC80M with a Talica II 8 for livelining bunker and it does the job very well. I thought the H was too heavy for what I needed.
