  1. I really don't think it's so much a cave, but keeping his promise to his constituents...after all, he is one! But it also seems as if he's "growing up" in the Presidency, and learning that many of his liberal notions are hopeless in the face of the facts that only a POTUS would know or be privy to....Who knows, maybe he will grow up and change....but I'm not counting on it...Nevertheless, I will credit him when he acts with sound judgment or strength of character. Not that he has much credit going for him now....
  2. I like to live in a state of mind.....where freedom is not determined by the state, but by personal liberty.....and justice is not blind, but merciful....
  3. Kid, you'll learn that it's not a matter of trusting people, it's a matter of trusting what's in people. Some folks have more of the good stuff to trust, and some folks less....but nobody is full enough to trust entirely....So learn where the good stuff comes from, and give it as well as get it....For the more you give, the more you receive.... (hope that gives you clue, where to find it...)
  4. Don't be worried....the effects are probably not serious....
  5. To those who have died and those who have served, my life and my freedom are in your debt....We can only repay by keeping your sacrifice in our hearts, and keeping the freedoms you have fought for in our "principles of life"....May you always know our gratitude...thanks, Capper...

  7. And I wonder why you don't want to live there....? Could it be that you're allergic to oil? Or just beautiful and capable women....
  8. I'm starting to wonder what happened to the GOP, and where did it go wrong...(left). And I thought moderates were supposed to be candidates, not the party trends.... Think I'll go back to my cave along with the other primitives....and let the country finish going to hell in a handbasket....
  9. I'm not condemning anybody...just the action. If the mothers were able to do this to themselves, then they share the same guilt. They usually have a lot of guilt hanging on them whichever way they turn. And why do we legalize murder? Especially murder of children? There is usually a long line of people who want children to adopt, is that no answer to their lack of responsibility?
  10. Now, you're saying one is opposed to the other? I'm sure there are a lot of hunters who would disagree with that remark, me for one...Considering the tax hunters pay has accounted for the return of most game species that the early "market hunters" practically exterminated....And most game conservation organizations are composed of hunters....(read that hunters, not ex-hunters) The arguments you embrace fail to substantiate.....
  11. After putting down a few animals of my own, I well understand the responsibility of terminating life which is near it's end and in pain....But you're comparing apples and oranges, if not horse apples with oranges....Terminating life before it even has a chance to develop and experience the gift of life....is simply murder, period.
  12. Liberals weasel up on the subtle, but with my boldness, I usually have no problem leaving before they close the bar....with my pick. (and shovel?)
  13. If he did, evidently, you failed to understand it...Hospice gives grace to dying with care for living...not terminating life!
  14. I'm elated....good riddance to bad medicine..maybe if he had been aborted,....but then he didn't get aborted, and had his chance to live...killing as he was killed, but with a life to look back on, unlike the aborted babies he deprived of life.....
  15. Some believe all of the liberal crap is most digestible....
  16. You're pretty....Now do I get a touch? And personally, if this is about the mom running off with her kid, I'm all for it, and would put them up at my place as long as they need..Anytime the state begins to dictate the "needs and treatment" terms, we've stepped from freedom to "big brother" and the mindset of state induced mentality....
  17. And if that was the case, we would have that much more anti gun idiots out after our last vestige of the second amendment... Personally, I'm almost content to suffer with the economic slump, just to keep him busy with the affairs of coddling public opinion, and contending with whatever he thinks is going to "cure" our GNP, which is getting harder and harder to define....and no one seems to give a gnats ass about producing anymore, just how to give away our taxes seems to be the agenda... At least, as long as he is diverted to working on the economy, he isn't going to rile the "clinging to my guns and religion" people, who are capable of using them!
  18. Yeah, right, Fnm, and like we're just hoping to breath the chards of another nuclear test.....get real, man, we know your president has his test cut out for him, and he isn't getting anywhere with it...what was it his buddy said about him having it happen as soon as he took office....(you know, buddy Biden..?)
  19. Actually, the supposed radio host admitted a long standing fear of water, dating from almost drowning in childhood.....anyone wonder why he wanted to take a "test" and recount waterboarding? Personally, I'm in favor of concentration camps as we would any other prisoners of war....but not any torture, simply because of my trying to live by the second commandment...not that I could have any say about whether or not it is "a necessary evil", but simply that we should consider ourselves on a higher standard of morals.... But, then again, as they say, "all's fair in love and war", and the passions of revenge are seldom quenched when those we love are in danger or dead by evil hands...
  20. For those of you who don't know me, I am new at this game, but enjoy the discources and rambling and discussions that bring to light new information and sources that, eventually increase all our knowledge. Of course, there is also the "friendly" barter, that give vent to inspiration and anger or aggression..... But, I am puzzeled by what seems to be common knowledge, most especially among the liberal "magicians", of just what is the "Bush Doctrine"! Is this just because I am conserative, or is this a common failing of the general population....Personally, I think it is common ground among the "Bush haters" and not really talked about among conservatives... So, really, is this a general term, or is it something that is written down on paper! And how am I supposed to know what the Bush Doctrine is if it's just a general term used by liberals...to denote their hate for all that Bush stands for? Most importantly, how can I understand, how someone can determine what the President will do according to what others think of him? It really doesn't make any sense to me! Is this "Bush Doctrine" really coherent in defining a direction, or are you simply trying to define the man? Maybe you think I am baiting the question, but I assure you I am not familar with the term.....maybe I should Google it, huh?
  21. Trolling mighty deep for the monsters that would wreck your boat?
  22. Couple of dozen hummingbird breasts make a tasty meal....yum.. Seriously, they drain about a cup of sugar a week from me but it's worth it just to watch the little marvels of God's creation...
  23. And he and Bill Ayers, the domestic terrorist, ran the Annenberg Challenge, a multi million fund, funded by both....from Wikipedia: By December 31, 1999, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge had identified and certified $110,643,651 in matching funds-$50,655,505 in public matching funds and $59,808,146 in private donations-more than the $98.4 million required to earn the $49.2 million grant from the Annenberg Thirty-six foundations and corporations provided private matching funds for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, with foundations providing over three-quarters of the private donations. Ten foundations, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Joyce Foundation, etc....(read the Joyce site for the description of gun control involvment)
  24. Actually, FactCheck is an arm of the Annenberg Foundation, which was and is funded by the Joyce Foundation....and this is a clip of what they were responsible for: "With Barack Obama still a director of the Joyce Foundation, they poured $400,000.00 into a new think tank at the Ohio State University. It was called the Second Amendment Research Center and was headed up by Saul Cornell, someone known to be an anti-individual gun rights person. Hardy tells us that the Second Amendment Research Center made it clear what's its agenda was - to influence the courts and reverse previous rulings for individual rights to keep and bear arms. The SARC continued filling up law reviews with only documents that supported the state's right to form militia's and denying individual rights. Once again, Hardy tells us that in the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in District of Columbia vs Heller, even though the ruling went in favor of the individual right in a 5-4 decision, the dissenters of the case were influenced by this effort of the Joyce Foundation of which Barack Obama served as a director. I find it not only disturbing but scary to think that anyone, whether opposing gun rights or any other right or established law, would work so dishonestly to manipulate our great legal system all for the purpose of promoting their personal ideals and agendas. As I said previously, its easy for a politician to say anything they want to say and chances are they will get away with it if it is not true. Barack Obama has repeatedly said he supports an individual's right interpretation of the Second Amendment and yet for 8 years as a director of the Joyce Foundation he supported the efforts to undermine and deceive our legal system in order to promote his agenda of removing guns from the hands of Americans."
  25. FDA is one bad joke....just another bad news bureaucracy...more people=more government=more bureaucracy=more regimentation=less liberty, less freedom....
