I have a bracket that was made to mount to the frame for a 94 Explorer. I have never used it. I bought it in Cape Hatteras a few years ago and then sold the truck. I paid $150 for it. It mounts under frame to allow for pipes on rod rack to slide in and allows rack to come off when not needed. If interested let me know. I can take some pictures.
Hi-I'd like to go out with you guys sometime. I'm in Baltimore. Have a 12' Manta Ray that I haven't used yet. Let me know what I have to do to catch up with some of you guys.
Very nice work. The boat will be better than new when you are done. I redid a 17' Whaler about 10 years ago and would have done some things different than I did with the benefit of 10 years of usage. Good luck, it will be a great boat when fin ished.
Haven't heard about these plugs yet. Seems like they would be hot in the Salt water around the Mid Atlantic. Maybe those using them are just keeping a good thing to themselves. Have to get a few to try this year.
I love your setup for it's simplicity. You have the frills you need and still some dollars in your pocket. It's good to see some people trying to think outside of the box.
Do you find the slotted rails on kayak to be useful? What do you attach to them? I have seen various things on these rails but am wondering if less is better.
Just wondering how the camping venue is set up? Is there security or are there just enough people around that it is safe to leave camping gear while you fish? What are the fees for all of this?
