  1. Not that I know of.
  2. I'll be in Big Pine from the 17th-22nd. Looking for any recommendations on Charters. I'm open to split charters/open boat as theres only two of us. TIA
  3. Bahia Honda state park also has good flats fishing
  4. The Marathon lady is a party boat thats worth the $45.00. I've ways looked for smaller bridges that you can get down to the waters edge. Never liked fishing off the high bridges. Live bait is king, chum definitely speeds up the action Fish tight to the pylons. I know a few solid spots from Big Pine to sugarloaf. Feel free to message me. I'll be in Big Pine the 17th-22nd.
  5. scup

When we're done bottom fishing we scoot over to a rip and send down whatever scups weve managed to keep alive. Always get bit if the fish are there.
  6. The whole recreation fishing world has changed. Bunch of people with the "best" gear who havent even learned the basics that will catch them more fish. Very dissapointing for me to pull in a parking lot at the canal with 50 other guys getting ready, its just not my seen. Fishing is trendy and no one has to work for it thanks to social media. Years ago the only ones with bikes were the Rats. Maybe im getting old and cranky. Maybe time to find a new hobby or just stay on the boat. Just my 2.
  7. Heading to Big Pine key 3/8-3/12. Anyone want to take two guys from Massachusetts out fishing? We will be fishing 3/9-3/11, anyone have any charter recommendations?
  8. I think Od was talking bout' a different time skunks.
  9. Totally agree on St.Croix they definatly could use some better representatives. Same show as last year, over priced beer and way too many people. The fishing industry has definatly changed in the past decade.
  10. Yes. Depends on how your fishing but a smooth reel helps to feel your lure.
  11. Some are rougher than others on their glasses. A cheap lens will just scratch and wear over time. Spend the money for a good glass lens and they should last.
  12. I'd consontrate around Bahia Honda state park. Fishing the old bridge is very good that time of year with a huge push of tarpon.
  13. I've tried them all. Bolle, Oakley, arnette, spy, flying fisherman' cheapies etc. Costas as are pricey but more than worth it. Clear and one of the most durable lenses. Stay away from plastic lenes. Go with glass.
