  1. Just like bald eagle and spotted owl.
  2. The only problem I have seen with the Cutco's is their tendency to hold fish odours in the handle. It seems to get into the handle material and is near impossible to get rid of.
  3. Here you go!! < Edit. Drifter, we dont allow posting of other sites here.> OOP's.........................Sorry!!!
  4. This has been my desk top image at home and work for quite a while now. The main shot is a buddy of mine hooked up on a nice Alaskan Rainbow. The rest are from top to bottom, my buddy again, me, a nice rainbow.
  5. My favorite cactus juice is Jose Cuervo!!!!
  6. Billy If you're posessed, then what is this guy? Here's an action shot!!!
  7. Yep, me too!!! My pack has a drink holder pocket at the bottom on each side and 2 cam straps above them, that lock the tubes in place. Here I am on a bear infested trail in Alaska. In the pack are 15 foot float rod, 9 foot fly rod, 2 reels, waders, wading boots, chest pack (with all my tackle), snacks and drinks.
  8. Yep!!! I have been expanding in girth since I quit smoking almost 10 years ago. I had Simms custom make me my newest set. I wanted tons of room for layering and "future expansion" so I had them build me their largest king size waders (big top, stumpy legs) and for a few extra $$$$ they will custom sew any bootie size on for you. i.e. their 3XL Kings come with size 11-13 booties standard and I had them install 9 to 11 booties. These wadres fit perfectly, no sagging, chafeing and enough room to squat without stressing seams. I can wear them all day and not even notice I have them on.
  9. They did a test on Mythbusters about the heat in cars. They had two identical Pontiac Grand Ams (except for colour) One white and one black. They left them out in the hot California sun and took temps every 1/2 hour. The white car topped out at 120 degrees or so, while the black one topped out over 140 degrees.
  10. If the tip tops on your rods are installed with tip cement (that hot melt glue stuff) it can get hot enough to soften it and the tips can come off or rotate. The graphite or glass blanks are stable to temps of about 300 degrees.
  11. The inside of a sealed car in direct sunlight can hit temps of 150 degrees, I think your garage will be fine.
  12. No need mine has accompanied me to the bottom of a river in upstate NY (6 feet deep) and on a ride through a class II shute in Alaska and worked perfectly as soon as I emerged from my dunkings. It's also been dropped on the floor a couple of times. Mine hangs around my neck on a strap for quick access, you never know when you might need it. Oh yeah, my camera isn't even billed as waterproof only water resistant. It is an old Stylus 300. The new SW series are Waterproof, one of these days I'll upgrade.
