  1. Good stuff... I still use my 710 with 20lb fireline. I have to mess with where the line sits on the bail here and there, but its still a solid reel.
  2. Brundlefly

    Plugs?

There are plenty of options in the 2 to 3 oz range. I'm not sure what the sweet spot is for your casting, but here are some ideas. Tattoo makes a diving swimmer that weighs 2.5 ozs they also make a 2 oz darter. Northbar Bottle Darter @ 2.5 ozs; Super Strike.. Darters, poppers, etc..
  3. I may be interested in a shirt as well, if you have left overs. Please post or PM what you have, Thanks!
  4. I was in the vicinity of the RR bridge Thursday night and saw a similar breech. No idea whether it was mola or BFT, but it was LOUD as hell! I almost fell off my rock lol.
  5. Definitely NOT a good sign, lol. I caught a small keeper (29" or just over) last week at the ditch, but it took a solid 3+ hours working different spots and it was the ONLY fish I caught. I don't think there's much in the way of solitary fish around now.
  6. Damn,, I'm 40... guess I'm SOL since I've never caught a 40" blue Nice Pair-O-Blues you have there! Wicked catch.
  7. http://www.************/cabelas/en/t...exId=cat600380 Anyone try this yet?
  8. Few things in this world are more deadly than a rabid mink...
  9. Nothing wrong with tins and you do not always have to be at the bottom with them, especially during breaking tides. On the other hand, you wont catch any starfish or muscles that way- lol
  10. I'm on the B side too. I live on Jerome St. I'm not sure where that is, but I would LOVE a PM with info I got me some shiny new albright waders this winter too!!! What a deal they were!
  11. How far up the river are you fishing? I may try near the, umm, old one lane bridge area (attempting to not spotburn) over the weekend . I live like 5 mins from there but never fish it! I end up driving across 2 states for a schoolie this time of year, I gotta learn my home waters...
  12. That's a real beauty! Your hard work really paid off. Skates and bait sometimes go hand in hand and is one of the reasons I don't fish much bait anymore. The other reason is dogfish- lol!
  13. It looks killer. What I liked about this lot was that there ended up being a nice spread of sizes, weights, and colors in the flies with a lot of variations. I like that seafoam green color and have not had anything tied with that until now. Thanks
  14. Got mine today too! Great job with the swap, Bob The flies look great, nice work all and thanks for letting me be a part of this!
