  1. Got the V&S, but I do acknowledge missing The Surfcaster. Which one do you carry?
  2. I forgot about that one, might fit my needs. Seems similar to the Canyons but with a little more wallet weight.
  3. Looking for a new surf bag for smaller plugs (Bombers, stubby needles, small danny's and poppers). I want more smaller diameter square tubes instead of the typical 10 2 inchers. Any thoughts? Which brand would rate as most durable?
  4. Well I would really love to see them at a fishing club where I might be able to read them down the road. I'll consider it though. Thanks
  5. Thanks for the interest. I'm in Sutton, MA which is south of Worcester off Rt 146. Somewhat of a hike, but if no Fishing Club wants them and you are willing to make the drive, they are yours. I'll be in touch.
  6. I tried this once before and it didn't work out well so 3 years later I thought i'd try again. I fish in MA and RI and ideally would love to still have access to the mags in case my son ever gets the bug, but unfortunately holding on to them just doesn't seem to do them justice. So if your club (legit please) has a library, they are free in trade for a lifetime of access to the library. If no fishing librarians surface, then they are free to the first poster who is willing to pick them up in Sutton, MA. Maybe a swap for a home turned Danny?? Best BTW, I may take a bit to reply, but will do my best.
  7. I can tell by the pictures. Sorry to hear that. Better luck for the rest of the run.
  8. New house and longer hours of work to pay for it has pretty much kept me out of the game this year. I'd love to see some photos of everyones best bass. Good luck to you all for the next few weeks. Hope to see some of you out there next year. Take care, MarkL
  9. Sorry for the delay fellas. As I'm sure you all know, moving is a nightmare. The day I posted, I had about a 2 hour window before I had to unplug the cable modem and move the PC. I'm back to work now (no internet @ home yet) and wasn't suprised at all the responses. Those mags are the best! Unfortunately, another member off a similar site replied 20 minutes after my post that same day so I owe them to him. He's certainly the type to make them available to all if anyone knows him. I appreciate all the interest and again, sorry for not giving you all closure . Cheers
  10. It breaks my heart to throw them out. Sorry for the late notice, but if anyone can make it to Bellingham, MA this weekend, they're yours.
  11. in the Bay... So the word says. Can anyone confirm?
  12. Thanks guys, I'm gonna give the double sided tape a shot, then if thats not the trick, try the mono base. Thanks for the help!
  13. Thought I broke the drag on my Ahab 8A. Back at the truck I realized the entire spool of 20# Fireline was turning under pressure. Hard for me to believe because on top of the knot, I tape the line with electrical tape. Retaped and respooled it at home at tight as I could get it. Three trips later the same scenario. Seems that it happens when the spool is gets completely soaked which is a new place i've been taking that reel (not advised I know). Anyone with a solution? I was considering tapping a 1/16th hole in the spool but if you're familiar with the spools design, you can see there isn't an optimal location to punch one in. Help
