  1. Im looking for an big chest freezer, that can freeze at least 3-- 5 gallon buckets of chum.
  2. Hello All, I am going to Grand Cayman in early July, and was wondering if anyone used a charter down there that they can recomend. thanks. Artie.
  3. I think i'm going to go with the Rhino lining, It will probably be in the 400 dollar range, plus I wont need to paint it and touch it up every year. I'll post some pictures after I get it done. Thanks Artie.
  4. THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA, IM GOING TO CHECK OUT THE PRICING ON THAT, DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO DO A MID SIZED PICKUP? THE AREA IS ONLY 3'X 7'.
  5. Does anyone have any ideas on finishing a wood deck? there was originaly marine carpet over it , but i ripped it up. there is plywood coverered with fiberglass plus some glue from the carpet. my idea was to sand it down to the fiberglass then paint it with that Interdeck with the non-skid in it.
  6. thanks for the quick response, I think I'll try to get something around keyport or laurence harbor, Its closer to the hook and hopefully a little cheaper.
  7. Does anyone know of a marina in the MIddletown area that has slips available for a 20' boat. I called Oceanic Marina in Rumson, they gave me a price of 3200 for the season, which is more than I want to spend. Thanks Artie.
  8. There is a good article in Sport Fishing Magazine this month. I'm actually looking to get into it also, I've been looking for different size molds and such. check out that article, It'll give you what you need to get started. Artie
  9. I have a Bottomline HR , That came with my boat. I still have it, but I had to send it back to them 2 times. the first time the power button went bad, and they charged me 89 bucks. The second time was less than a year later, same problem. that time they fixed it for free, and upgraded some internal parts. besides that its a champion. I like the big screen, with extra large #s, you could read it from across the boat.
  10. 420# Thresher 25 miles SE of Sandy Hook. Took 4 guys 5 hours.
  11. I dont know how to do the picture thing. I'll try again. sorry
  12. Boat side, 5 hours later.
  13. I GOT 2 ABOUT 1/2 MILE OFF THE BEACH LAST YEAR, ONE WAS 44" AND IM GUESSING AROUND 20#, THE OTHER WAS 39" AND SOMEWHERE AROUND 17#. I THOUGHT I HOOKED A VOLKSWAGON.

  15. HOWS IT GOIN. MY BOAT IS OUT OF GREAT KILLS HARBOR IN S.I. AND LATELY THERE HAVE BEEN A BUNCH OF SCHOOLS OF COCKTAILS CHASING SPEARING UP AND DOWN THE BEACH ,FROM GREAT KILLS TO PENNY BEACH, WHICH IS GOING TOWARDS THE VERRAZANO BRIDGE. THEY'RE FUN TO CATCH WITH LITE TACKLE AND FLY RODS. IF YOU WANT TO CHUNK UM' I WOULD TRY OLD ORCHARD LIGHT, OR THE GREAT KILLS BUG LIGHT. YOU ARE DEFINETLY GOING TO RUN INTO SOME MAJOR BOAT TRAFFIC IN BOTH SPOTS. IF YOU WANT LESS BOAT TRAFFIC TRY RIGHT OFF OF SEGUINE AVE , ANCHOR RIGHT BY THE CLOSEST RED BOUY TO THE BEACH, THERES ALWAYS BLUES THERE. GOOD LUCK. ARTIE (BLUE DOG)
