  1. Just a heads up for you guys striper fishing up in the freshwater parts of the merrimack before the lawrence dam. I saw tons of herring, shad, and a few other stripers get landed. This guy came out to 29.5", hopefully some bigger guys will make there way up as well
  2. i don't have a scale precise enough at the moment, but the actual lure without the curly tail is 4.2 inches, with a .75 inch diameter. the density is apparently 2.83 g/cm^3 i tried taking the density and dimensions to find the approx weight, i got 3.014 oz which seems close, it feels more about 3.5 though
  3. hey guys, its been a while since i've had time to make any lures so i thought i'd try somethin new. Machined it out of T3 aluminum which was surprisingly soft at relatively high rpms. I'm hopin i can whip this guy a mile since its considerably denser
  4. I haven't posted in a while but still need some comments/critiques on my work. The second pic is one of my better designs that had some decent luck over the summer, especially during the mackeral blitzes I got north of cape anne
  5. not sure what inventor is but i'm sure i'll be using it next semester. this was just autocad which is actually more for architecture than designing products
  6. i had a little fun with autocad. i know its not legit art but its not bad for an engineering program. took a couple of hours today to make from skratch
  7. Getting pumped for the trip, which is 21-23 and starts/ends on winter island. I was also hoping with joining a group or other yaker at the first meeting for safety but if anyone from sol want's to buddy up now that'd great too. -andy
  8. in massachusetts? My brother said i looked white trashy in the jersey but i thought i could get away with it lol
  9. this aint ur turf mets fan. Why don't you just hang out with your friends in the NL Some local bank was nice enough to have him come down and do free pic's. He was out there for the third hour by the time i showed up but was still smilin and talkin a little to everybody who came up. They say he is a "generous" 5' 7" but he looked a lot smaller in real life.
  10. Great guy, got a picture with him and my brother about 1/2 an hour ago. I got to upload it since i look like a giant standing next to him.
  11. any other party boats in the Northeast area? I recently returned from a month long trip to new mexico so i got a late start finding a job . I got put on the waitlist for Eastman's and Captain's as a deckhand. I'm hoping I can find a charter in the area that still needs help before the summer's over but it doesn't look like its gonna happen. Any suggestions would be well appreciated! Thanks! -Andy
