  3. +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 coming out is the punisher. +1 also liked marco polo. daredevil has crazy sorround sound, if you have a sorround sound that's really good on rear speakers.
  4. Jim, that's all good in theory but not applicable in real world scenario. i got evidences and witnesses. (emphaiss on"ES" means plural, more than one) let' start with the guy whom you gave a prototype blank. everything is good on paper, but there's a big difference between paper and rel world.
  5. the basic of NGC is there, detailed in step by step. how he came out with the 27x in conjunction with the NGC. but i guess you want the answers spoonfed for free. oh, you sensitive snowflake you
  6. 5, was born 2012 and i can tell between thread and shrinktube. wait til i grow up i can tell epoxy from apoxseee.
  7. use the florida standard guide for surf rod, you'll see it from the glades
  8. ding ding ding ding ding ding I Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnn!!!!! for "rod builders" who said it was shrink tube, LMAO!!! #rubber #shrinktubing
  9. buy a book, start with TOM KIRKMAN's book and learn. people don't buy a book or go to gatherings/meetings because they can just ask in the internet and not pay for s@#t.
  10. he didnt coz it was thread but his gonna lie and say it was rubber
  11. you deefinetly need soft tip, check into blackfin blanks. , they have a couple very nice tips i built for daytime swords here in florida for boat capts. i cant remember the model on top of my head.
  12. depends hat weight you are using. must have backbone but soft enough tip to detect sword bite, and sword bite is light like a tap-tap. wow 50w on 2000 feet, u get the weight up (only weight in 15mins.
  13. Jim answered it.So i deleted mine as not to confuse
  14. it's thread. take it off and find out.
  15. it's thread
  16. i've read of people using chairs, hangers, books...hey as long as it works !!
  17. no, mutant wont be distributed here. Kane only sells to one person in th eUS and no one else. melton tackle and triangle tackle, melton tackle sells it more than traingle tackle. no need to learn how to use ur thumb Alex. Kane and i spoke about rod design so the rod does all the work for you. Synit has been doing it. Kane makes the mutant and Graeme builds the rod to match it. yes, not just small stripper, height too. depending on USD = NZD roughly about $550.
  18. boomer is a good blank. you can get roller tip w/ everything else ceramic guides but if you dont pass a swivel a cermaic tip would be fine. i would acid wrap it and go ceramic all the way to the tiptop, 80# mono wwould easily pass thru a 12mm. 50/30 i'd go with a 20mm and not reverse it. butt is preference, straight thru you dont have to cut, unibutt you'll have the joint. for personal stnadup rods i prefer winthrop adjus a butt, coz sometimes i lieave the rod in the rod holder and fight the fish from there when i'm tired. however this way is alooooooot heavier.
  19. whoever said you can't use lowrider guides on rods shorter than 12' is an idiot. whoever used lowrider guides all the way to tip on rods shorter than 12' is a moron. this was 8.5 years ago, before st.croix and shimano put lowriders on their rods, this was before TLC/TLDBSG was available in the USA. this was before anyone else (that i know of) was messing around with the LC concept on shorter rods. The only thing i can remember using LC way back as 2000/2001 was Gowge (RIP) in the florida surf casters forum using LC for roosterfish from the surf in mexico and a member of this forum by the name "sergio". http://www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/topic/228453-ssu1081/?hl=ssu1081
  20. he needs to understand physics, maybe he was just sick when it was discusssed. technically it affects as when the line is going thru the ceramic there is friction, wherever there is friction there is lost distance. some ceramics have more friction than others.
  21. there's a video in faacebook both ceramic sliding at the same time thru mono but i dont know how to upload the video here.
  22. i'm buildiing a sage salt 10wt for a client in maine, gonna be using 16kw torzite, 10kw torzite and 10x 7mm kb/kt torzites with torzite arrowana tip, gonna post picture of weight when done. rec reel seat, hand picked cork from Herb from this site.
