  1. I have never paid more than 10-20 for a deposit but I have always had my own tap. Until recently I had a Keg orator and always got my kegs form the same place and never had to pay a deposit and having a good relationship with the owner rarely if ever got a sticker for a keg that was going in the fridge. Used to empty a ½ keg every three days during the week between the three of us and every night on weekends between the neighborhood. 6 months later I have moved away form DC and may finish a case once a month if that. At $50 a pop I could make a living taking kegs from College Park to the scrap yard.
  2. Steve your garden sounds amazing. Everyone in my family has had a vegetable garden going back as far as I can remember. I love having fresh salads or walking bye and being able to bite into a tomato off the vine at any moment. I would to see a photo of your lay out. My grandfather turned most of his back yard into a garden. In the past few years we have done a lot of landscaping at my house and now I am remolding the inside so the garden has suffered. This year I am ashamed to say that I only have two potted tomato plants that are being neglected. Hopefully next year there will be less need for staging area and it will be the return of the garden.
  3. I love EZ Pass. I even take it with me when traveling with non EZ pass users. Sometimes I have forgotten to put it back in my car and gone ezpass lane...still no problem. I especially like the areas where they have built EZ Pass only ramps where you don't even have to slow down. I take it off when in shady areas and have forgotten to put it back up. It still gets hit in the glove box. With that said keep the silver sleeve it comes shipped in so it doesn't get hit when you don't want it to.
  4. I am not positive but I believe that a federal court made a decision making it legal to take Horseshoe crab. I cant recall details because it is second hand information to me, but there are federal regulations and each state is allowed to add more restrictions. I believe I was told that most states have not or have yet to add additional restrictions. The horseshoe crab was put on the restricted list because it is said that there eggs are vital to birds during there migration to where ever. That has been hard to proven and other markets have produced statically evidence that not harvesting them is hurting business. I don"™t know what there populations are or what they should be but I have seen them everywhere this year in comparison to past years.
  5. Don"™t know about BUI, but open canister, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness are all tickets that one can get once you pop a top...even if you have yet to take a sip
  6. Charlie must go... every time I turn on the game we end up with an L. but every time I make a game it has ended with a W...any one want to donate some it for the team...
  7. Well I hope it was better five years ago than it was today? I didn"™t notice or hear of anything bring brought to the rail.
  8. So how did it go, or did it?
  9. Two times Guy on the metro (DC) was bumping into everyone a buddy of mine told the guy to settle down and than a katana sword (or something like it was pulled out of a back pack. Second time was in College Park MD. My roommate and I had been having words with a group of local wanabe thugs. My roommate bartending at the time and I occasionally working the door at a local bar that I frequent. Many people had repeated problems with three individuals. Eventually an incidence happened at the bar and the they got tossed out and ruffed up a bit. A few months later my roommate and I are walking out of a wawa with a few girls and they spot us. They start running there mouths, we just ignore but one of the girls got pushed out of the way. The girls get in the car and the one dude starts throwing **** at my car. A knife is pulled, I was still going to just drive off but they came at us. It was icy out and dude with the knife slipped and busted his ass my roommate and I wrestle so we were more comfortable with the fight on the ground anyhow. Good girls called the police, guy with the knife got arrested other two were sent on there way and we drove home. It may have lasted two minuets tops. I got no ass that night and feel like I have to keep an eye out when I am down in CP.
  10. Rutgers has a tagging program with Stripers and are going to or have started with weakfish. It is an internal tag. They also have a dozen marker buoy in the Great Bay/ Mullica River area that reports every time the fish is in range. I recently found out about the study, so I don"™t know much more about it. I hope they will find trends in movements for that area. Good Idea, but most likely to many uncontrollable variables and too small a sample size.
  11. Do what ever you want to the individual but what is truly going to suck for them is that the township will make an effort to stickem with a bill for all the services that were used. (Man hours, Gas....)
  12. It is not stakumms If you put provolone on a cheese stake it is not a Philly Cheese Stake (American or wiz) Toppings should be limited to onions and mush If you are looking for pats or genos and think you made a wrong turn just keep going you"™ll stumble uponem. Always open always a good time. When I went to U of MD I would make the trip back up to Philly to show them MD and LI, NYers what it is all about.
  13. I have not looked at every post but I had taken a look at many of them and the one topic that I don"™t think was mentioned was the media stirring up the question, "why was there not a campus lock down?" or "why is a lockdown not part of campus security plans?" What do you all think?
  14. Looks like it was a good day. Our club was going to make a trip but opted to postpone till next weekend. A report form a fellow kayaker who went out on the 13th got into fish but took on the elements to do so. Where did you all put in? it sounds like most of the action is on the southern parts of the flats and only starting to clear up enough to use plastics.
