  1. Linesider -- I've followed your posts for quite awhile and know the time and effort you've put in. Great to see that you were in the right place/right time. Awesome pic!! Congrats on a beauty !
  2. You'll need to show completion of a certified boater safety course, other than that nothing special beyond normal registration. As was mentioned, the smallie fishing can be very good. This time of year you'll probably need to fish 25 feet or so to find them. If you're staying on the lake, black jitterbugs off the dock can be productive as well after the sun goes down. It's a wonderful area. Have a great trip.
  3. I always top off my uni's with crazy glue. Seems to help keep them buttoned up. Sounds like a great trip, even if you lost the big one.
  4. Great post Allen. For most of us we've spent so much time in the sun that things are already in motion if we're susceptible. I had a melanoma a few years ago - never saw it - it was right in the middle of my back. A good dermatologist can see this stuff long before it reaches the problem stage. Don't want to preach, but I don't want anyone's family to go through what mine did if you can get it before it gets ugly. If you've got that fair skin like me a dermatologist visit is cheap insurance. Best wishes on the surgery.
