  1. Is it drivable? If so why not Bring it back to the dealership, if it is in fact an axle it should be covered by the warranty. Without more info it's hard to determine what the problem could be , it could be as simple as a broken or worn brake pad or at the other end of the scale it could be something very serious. Don't know where you are in NJ but the guys at sans one auto mall have always been good to deal with , honest and reliable.
  2. Only thing happening for me the past few weeks was some short fluke, and some snappers. Plant of bait in the bay but not much else.where are the blowfish this year?
  3. There is a limit on snappers as I'm sure everyone here knows. 10 fish under 12" and an additional 5 fish over 12"
  4. I actually had a great year , last year with blowfish. Have been hitting my spots this year but it seems the blowfish are not back yet , at least not in my spots . Has anyone been getting any this year?
  5. Went out on the voyager yesterday for a ling marathon and that's exactly what it was a marathon. Started out a bit slow but the afternoon was great, caught some ling, some flounder, some cod and a few stargazers. All in all it made for a great day. One of the best captains and crew out there. These guys and girl work their butts off to keep everyone having a great time.
  6. It amazes me how people can call something they know nothing about garbage. I can understand if you don't like the taste of something or even the look of something but to call it garbage because it doesn't fit into your preferred list is just pure ********. Anyone who's eaten sea robin prepared correctly and says it doesn't taste good has a very specific taste preference or is just plain stupid. They taste just as good and maybe better then some of the other fish available to us on a regular basis. After being here for some time I have learned that most of the garbage is comming from the mouths of the ignorant.
  7. Crabs and snappers, sounds like a good day to me. I'll take 3 snappers over a big bluefish any day. Call me crazy but that's me. Great looking bucket of crabs Vinny, you eat them yet?
  8. I may be nuts Butkus just love the blowfish I remember catching them as a youngster and then I didn't see them for a good 20 years. Then low and behold a few years back they started to appear here and there. Last year I found a good productive area and made a few trips there and had a ball. Tried the spot once this year but only caught 1 maybe it was a little early and the moon tide was in full effect so hopefully it will be better next week. Only time will tell.
  9. They may be less rewarding to some and to some they may not count at all but I'll tell you this for sure they are just as delicious. Nice catch there buddy. Tight lines.
  10. What's going on this year? Where are the blowfish reports? Anyone seeing any action or still just picking up one here and there. Went out last week but moon was wrong and tide was running strong. Got a ton of short fluke, some sea Robbins and just 1 nice blowfish. Any info would be appreciated.
  11. Yes please post some reports. I'm planning on making a trip on Thursday or Friday to my hotspot. Produced great last year and my mouth has been watering all winter for some of that chicken of the sea.
  12. Wow that's a strong statement Erik. Car salesmen much like most other commissioned salesmen try to get the best price on what they are selling, they have guidelines and minimum amounts they can take but the more they cut the price the more that it cuts into their commission. The best advice I can give is do your homework and go into the dealership prepared. Know what you are willing to pay for the vehicle then try to get that deal.sometimes it is possible sometimes it is not. The advent of the Internet has changed the car buying market drastically, the Local Dealer knows he's not the only option any longer and sees exactly what you see on the Internet.
  13. Been harvesting a few flowers every day for the past few weeks now. Production seems to be a lot slower then in past years but I've got enough for me and the family. Anyone have any interesting recipes? I usually just mix up some eggs with grated Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper dip the flowers in and fry them in olive oil.
  14. F$&@;/ animals, should be skinned and left on the beach themselves
  15. RIP , mike, my thoughts and prayers go out tho friends and family. May God be with them in this time of need.
