  1. IMHO if u r going for the biggest monster in the deep...go bailess ones....
  2. Stocks coming in soon.....
  3. Poppers r pretty easy to match up with longer rods like surf-rod...cos they comes in pretty heavy setup...like 140g...they do makes a very chaotic scene at the water...good for attracting predators...

    Favorite Braid

    I luv Power Pro,Spider wire,big game....these all i ve used,but i seems to use the **** Super Matrix comes in 10 spools X 100m = 1000m.The thing i luv the most is it's in the thickness of a P.E 2 but the strenght of a P.E 3.....
  5. I wouldn't mind bout the time provided it doesn't clash with my work...always love the first flood of tide and good current to make my baits swims lively...
  6. Fishing is more expensive than my bow-hunting activity...Tends to have many types of set-up ...bottom-fishing rigs, surf fishing, lure fishing, big game fishing and fly fishing...Wow i didn't go into light tackle, medium, heavy and ultimate big-game yet!!!
  7. Fish with braide will give advantages to u bout fish feeling your bait/lure,most the problem usually lies on blunt hook that dosen't have a good hook-up and tends to loose your catch,When i use a circle hook on baits...it's already set in my mind that i woule either get a well-hooked fish or a good-lost ones!IMO go talk to that fishio and find what is lacking in you that he has...this will saves u heck a lot of time & pain to know the well-hidden secrets...For Ask U Shall Find...Goodluck
  8. that's why one should use a leader for their fishing needs...not only u will save back your main-line,the leader would also be a good presentations bout invisbility, with braided...u tend to spook the presence of the baits or lure...If u r worried bout losing lures...then try tying bimini braided join with bimini mono leader...with these joint it's strength far supress your original weight of your main-line.Flouro r not cheap either, but u can always starts with any kinda mono lines that has a soft character to ease tying knots.Goodluck,
  9. Yeap...every one ounce of your sinker/weight u multiply by 10lbs will = to the poundage of your shock-leader...And as for the lenght just make it easy to multiply your rod's lenght i.e for eg. if u r using a 14 feet rod...then your shock-leader will be comfotable at 28 feet. That will take care bout wrapping a few rounds of shock-leader on your reel. And always try to look for shock-leader as soft as possible to prevent main-line tangling like a butterfly...cos the stifness of a hard shock-leader would shoot out of the guide slower than the mainline.Goodluck.
  10. Wow only 8 feet rod...i can't imagine if u use a 18 feet rod!!!
  11. Looks like u r really into long-distance casting...the way u do your reel r splendid..and if i were u i would cutomise the reel's handle...it's not easy to work your way with 200m lines on a small handle-bar
  12. Daiwa QD with shallow spool...it has a drag of 15kg...it's so light and easy on retrivals
  13. Hey buddy,do not forgo the shock-leader cos it's of great help in surf-casting...i can't imagine if u don't have one!!!U get's your finger cut especially the braided lines and most probably loose more poppers or baits!
  14. Mr.Iron Mike....U r indeed a "Truely A Great Mullet"...My salutes to U!
