  1. Surf Warrior That's a nice looking plug
  2. I'm not going to miss much, I found some decent water this fall but nothing that I was overly excited about. That was just in the spots I hit though, which is a small region compared to some guys on here
  3. I'm watching the surf cams and thinking about all the new structure this storm will leave us, the waves are intense!
  4. I have been fishing clams at night, and have been getting a ton of unidentified bites. They seemed too rapid of a bite for a bass or skate/dogs, but not as nippy as a bluefish. Downsized hooks to 3/0 and still missed them. Sound anything like ling?
  5. Ocean County - 5 p.m. To 10 p.m.. Nada on clam and plugs, saw spearing in the wash.
  6. That's only a tenth of the rig, you should see all the other hooks I have that aren't in the picture No, I really put the plug next to it to show scale, they are separate rigs on seperate rods. The plug is the yo-zuri, and I actually caught him inside the second breaker I was half asleep when I posted that it was a fluke, at a second glance I thought winter flounder, but its cool to confirm that it's a sundial The replies are great, glad to know I'm in the company of such a witty bunch
  7. Ocean County 1 a.m. To 4:30 a.m. Landed one short fluke, couple dogs and skates, a few bluefish nibbles on bunker but no hook-ups
  8. The headlight brigade was out in Ocean County last night, but it didn't keep the dogfish away
  9. skunk in Ocean County tonight. Saw a lot of spearing and even some squid, but no signs of bass.
  10. That's the nice thing about BI's south jetty, you can tie off to the light pole when it gets rough, just in case lol
  11. Packed up my truck, ready to leave, called into work. Somebody catch one for me!
  12. I bought a used 975 a while ago and it has always been tight. It doesn't cast well, and feels like there is too much tension when turning the handle. I took it apart and it has the tension seems to be in the line guide assembly (either the line guide shaft of . I know I need to lube it, but would like any suggestions if someone thinks the problem is more than lubrication.
