  1. Hi Recoil- Still only interested in that trade at the moment. You’ll be first in line if I change my mind.
  2. Thanks Charlie. That’s good to know. I was unaware. Haven’t fished much for four or five years now. Keep getting busier with work and keep having more kids. What few times I do fish, I tend to use my Van Staal 7/8 CVEX. The reel is in solid shape. I bought it from Cabelas Bargain cave for $120 maybe 10 years ago. Did not have the box or bag, but I was not complaining at that price… I’ll try to get some pics up after the kids go to bed.
  3. Hey Recoil. Only interested in that specific trade at the moment.
  4. I have a silver VSB 150 spooled up with 17 lb test Fireline. Looking to see if there is any interest out there in a trade (maybe trade plus cash) for a Festool track saw. At work at the moment but happy to update with pics if there is any interest.
  5. Approximately 20 or so. Some were my grandfather’s. Older honey Lamis. Most of the time, I use my st Croix mojos and avids (ranging from 9 to 12’). i used to use mostly plugging rods with spinning reels, but lean towards conventionals and bait moreso in recent years.
  6. Pico and Woodys are both pretty good. I catch the occasional omelette at Bills Prime in the AM. Aside from that, I just fry and eat what I catch - oysters, crabs, and fluke.
  7. Can anyone recommend a surf setup for this time of year? I normally fish around Chincoteague in late fall, but not too often in the summer. I have pretty much any surf setup you can imagine, but not too much space on the vehicle due to kids’ stuff.
  8. Crazy. I don’t think it needs to come to a stabbing. Also, I’d think one or two well placed whips with a graphite rod would probably have something thinking twice about their next steps (if push came to shove).
  9. I may let it ride for a bit. Given only ten of those bunkers were made, I’m not sure of value. I would sell both herring ones for $70, or all three for $100 shipped.
  10. I’m estimating 2 to 3 oz and approximately 6” long. R Smith bought the molds from J Stirpe and makes these now. More info can be found on this forum by searching for “Johnny” (as in Johnny Stirpe). He was also known for making some fine swimming plugs.
