  7. Missed your response, I had these built for fishing down in the Keys. I'm mostly tossing soft plastics on 1/8- 1/4 weighed hooks. Rod has a soft enough tip to toss a shrimp on a jighead. Other travel rod I had built was Phenix Redeye, much stouter rod for larger fish so it's an apples to orange comparison.
  8. I'm a big fan of the rodgeeks travel rods 4 pieces and fits in my backpack.
  9. Check out the Rodgeeks X-Comp 804 or 805 blank, should fit the bill for tarpon and reds
  10. We ordered a seafood platter from Bennetts on 2nd House Road that was fantastic. Hooked on South Etna has good chowder. If you’re starving and can’t make it to Montauk try Smokin Wolf, Luigi’s, or Brent’s Deli in Amagansett
  11. I believe Skinner cut 4’ on the heavy version nexus because it was soft for fishing Cartwrights. I lucked out and won a raffle for a custom fluke rod. It’s a JW black widow cut down to 6’8 for bouncing up to 6oz bucktails. JW makes a great rod if your prefer to rapid jig. Also I suck at math
  12. I have a large blue Mac and a mini, I’ll dig it out if you’re interested.
