Can you answer the follow as it applies to your page on High Tide Tables?-
For example, I live in Brooklyn, so for high tides I check “Sandy Hook” column and then check under “Rockaway Inlet” for the plusses and minuses. I presume that is correct for where I want to fish (?)
Next, under the Current Tables, and then under “On The Narrows” in order to find out when the current is the greatest (?), for example for today (12/23/17), I would check under today’s date and see 5:23 AM and 5:28 PM and then look below under “Rockaway Inlet” and see “- 1.33”. So then I would do the following calculation:
5:23 AM minus 1.33 (equals about 4 AM) to see when the greatest current would be. Is that correct? Therefore, if high tide is: 3:10 AM then the greatest current would be 4 AM. Is that correct?
