  1. Yes, but this is the same guy that mentioned "we have an open yard policy on the street" when we first moved in. He then tried to train his new dog to crap in our yard, not his. That didn't work out for him! Now he blows the leaves that fall from trees on my property back onto my property and the other into the street. He is a Lawyer so it must be legal....in his mind.
  2. I don't use a light box, I do use a Ott light, sometimes 2, one from above and one from the side. I always use a diffuser ( white felt sheets or white paper towels wrapped around the head of the lamp) to help lessen the highlights, so they aren't too burnt out. I use white sheets of paper or card stock to "bounce" light to areas of the fly that aren't lit enough too. I always bracket my photos too, one stop darker on the exposure is the one I favor most of the time. I use a TG4 too but if I could I would get my 1st generation Stylus Tough back, the blue case version, that camera was magic. Cool idea on the plastic. Mounting is cool too.
  3. Cool, I like the eye detail.
  4. It is tradition for me to fish here the week between Christmas and New Years day, usually alone, but with company on one hole.
  5. If the above deal goes south I will take it. Thanks.
  6. a quick search for "laminated resin beads" should get you to them.
  7. ......can't live with them, can't live without them. Great story Salty, and the fly fits her image well!

  11. anchored up to a rip and "that" kayaker paddles up through my swing to ask me how I'm doing, and then tells me there are no fish on his screen as he paddles away.
