I don't use a light box, I do use a Ott light, sometimes 2, one from above and one from the side. I always use a diffuser ( white felt sheets or white paper towels wrapped around the head of the lamp) to help lessen the highlights, so they aren't too burnt out. I use white sheets of paper or card stock to "bounce" light to areas of the fly that aren't lit enough too. I always bracket my photos too, one stop darker on the exposure is the one I favor most of the time. I use a TG4 too but if I could I would get my 1st generation Stylus Tough back, the blue case version, that camera was magic.
Cool idea on the plastic. Mounting is cool too.
