  3. I'm heading down to bahia honda 3rd week in august for vacation and am looking for some info on the area. I've got a 17.5ft sea chaser and planning to fish reasonably close to the park(with gas being what it is). I was thinking snapper or small grouper if I can find some good bottom. anybody got some #'s they could pm me? I found a few for rubble from the old bridge on the fwc website but not much else. anybody been down lately? how's the fishing near the park? any info appreciated
  4. I just got a conventional Olympic reel(4/0) that has holes for a rod clamp but not the clamp itself. Do I need to get a rod clamp for it? its going on a penn mariner with graphite seats and 50ib test for bottom fishing. At what ib test do you usually need a rod clamp with graphite seats?
  5. At what pound test line do you need a rod clamp to hold the reel to the rod? I just got a couple of standard Olympic reels (about the size of 3/0 and 4/0 penn senators) that have holes for clamps but no clamps. One has 20 ib test and the other 50ib test. I wasn't sure if I need to get rod clamps for them or if they will be ok without them. Any advise would be appreciated.
  6. I have paypal. how much do you want for it?
  7. Sorry, I don't. I haven't been actively fishing/collecting tackle very long.
  8. sorry I don't, we don't fish much with wood here in florida. How much would you be willing to part with a bail wire for?
  9. I've got a mirrolure 53mr(discontinued) in chartreuse. Interested?
  10. its part # 024-704. I think its the same on a 704 and 704z. I can't find one anywhere. Any help in obtaining one would greatly appreciated.
  11. will your tents, sleeping bags etc. really get stolen at bahia honda while you're out fishing?
