  1. Yes, send me PayPal info. Thanks
  2. I'll offer $125/ shipped paypal
  3. My primary rod is sextant 8 wt. I started using cortland compact intermediate line beginning of summer, and I have to say i am very impressed and happy with that line. I do use airflo cold saltwater intermediate & float on that rod too, but since switching to the cortland the airflo is collecting dust.
  4. Looking for a used, in good condition, Thomas & Thomas Sextant 7 or 8 wt/9ft. I have a great condition Sage Maverick 9 wt/9ft. or Sage HD Salt 8 wt/9 ft. to trade. I can supply pictures if interested. The maverick comes with original tube/sock, the HD Salt only comes with second hand sock no tube. I think I am preferring the 7 wt.
  5. I do think there is a small adjustment period for any new equipment...rods, reels, lines etc. I'd give it a couple outings and if it doesn't work for you. You might just find that "sweet"spot in the line.
  6. IMHO I love the airflo coldwater salt intermediate. I've been fishing that line hard for 3 seasons, still looks, works great. I also fish the coldwater float on occasion, my favorite series of lines by far.
  7. I recently purchased a smaller wallet and it came with different material than a larger wallet I've been using for a couple seasons. The newer material is "thicker" like carpeting not small loops like the fuzzy velcro. I like the newer material personally, but we'll see.
  8. I've been using vedavoo fly wallets for a couple seasons now. I have 2 different sizes. I like them a lot and quality is top notch. I prefer these wallets over boxes. I understand not for everyone, but I like that they are open- flies dry out nice. I give them a quick rinse with all my other gear, and the hooks don't rust out. I use the vinyl material, wicks water very well. After an outing I just open the wallet up and give a quick rinse, dries in the sun in an hour or so. I also have a smaller travel size if I am wet wading i put the wallet in my back pocket withsome leader/tippet material and I'm good to go when I want to pack real light. Also I've purchased other vedavoo products and very impressed with all their products, well made.
  9. I have used a fishpond thunderhead sling for a couple seasons. While a bit $ it works well. Not overly huge, but holds leader, extra spool, fly box, small clothing (tshirt/sweatshirt) very well. Best part it's waterproof. I've had that thing submerged quite a bit with no issues. I beat it up pretty good and still looks great. It has worked well after 3 seasons.
  10. Wow, absolutely gorgeous nets- works of art. It's a shame I'm not a huge trout fisherman, but these are spectacular. Good luck to you and I hope you have plenty of support. Beautiful, handmade right here in PA product!
  11. I used an orvis basket for years, very well made- especially good in heavy surf. However, the downside is it's heavy. Since I walk quite a bit, I have been looking to eliminate weight. I purchased the LK basket and after a full season- ton of hours on this thing I really like it. It's much lighter than the orvis, holds line well- basically works well for me. I drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, but really no complaints from me on the LK basket. I primarly fish surf, inlets, bay. Should last quite a while.
  12. I'd like to offer $ 350 /shipped - NO fly line, backing YES. Can Paypal.
