not to raise any h3ll, but could you post this in the Hatteras/OBX forum as well? there's currently a commercial vs. recreational bunker issue going on there. might be why you shared this, dunno. either way, thanks!

i posted this in the fly forum, but i thought some of ya might be interested: A new sculpture in Culler Lake aims to immortalize fly fisherman Lefty Kreh | Arts & entertainment | fredericknewspost.com in my hometown, where i still live & work. Lefty attended the same high school as i did (different generations) adjacent to the lake where his statue now stands. a rainy day but very well attended. many friends & family in attendance. very poignant event. i had the privilege of meeting him twice as a boy. i can not express what an impression he made on me & thousands of others. a truly gifted, humble & wonderful human being. i caught my 1st fish on that lake in the 60's & often wondered if he ever casted there. today i got my answer. Godspeed Lefty! Friends of Lefty Kreh

as a kid i idolized him, as an adult i respected the hell out of everything that made him the ballplayer and man he was. many folks have attested that he was more of an all-star off the field as a person. had the privilege of meeting him. his autograph is in my sports case, to be willed to the next generation

they said a member of our bachelor party did something inappropriate right after we had paid the cover & handed over our beer to the bar. (the rule back then) i thought it was a great business model.
