  6. I haven't seen any fish on the outer cape yet, last few years my first fish has been on April 21st. I will try again tonight.
  7. I agree, it doesn't really save any money, I built my own because I want a larger one than what is generally available.
  8. I don't know if you saw my post from a few days ago, but I am almost there: two pieces of PVC that will screw together I used 4 Inch Small Board as a base Claulk (to seal PVC to Base) Larger capacity Aquarium Pump, (I go one with 2 outputs Aquarium Hose Regulator valves (to tune airflow) Some type of barrior materiail (I haven't worked this out yet, but Vaccume cleaner bags may be the key.) thread your drill a hole or two in the lower PVC for your regulator valves to go in. Caulk your lower portion to the board. Tread your PVC Together with the barrior in between connect your pump with the hoses and you should be ready to go.
  9. There are a hand full of food safe finishes, I haven't used any myself, but Mineral Oil and Salad bowl oil come to mind. google food safe wooden bowl finishes.

  13. Hi all I have been attempting to make a fluid bed for powder painting. I think I have it almost there, but my power goes from still to mostly still with mini volcanos, I never get that perfect fluid stage. I am using very thin Brown paper bags as a bearier screwed between two sections of 4 inch PVC, I have the lower section caulked to a board and 2 adjustable valves opposite each other hooked to a decent sized aquarium pump. any suggestions?
