I think every community has leash laws, why do people think they don't apply on the beach? I've had dogs and am getting another soon, they are always on a leash ,unless trained to heal and come on command without one, I've had several occasions when fishing or just walking along the beach when someones dog comes running full tilt at you barking, and the owner yells don't worry they won't bother you and they jump up at ya,this behavior to me is unexceptable. My wife and I had dinner reservations and decided to walk the beach to kill time well sure as hell this is what happened the wife had white pants on the dog jumps up and now she's covered in mud ,slime and what ever else, the woman with the dog thought it was funny ,needless to say we were'nt happy,I told the woman to grab her dog she looked at me like I was speaking a foriegn language, she understood when I said it again a little louder with more meaning with a few "f' bombs thrown in for clarification. If as a dog owner you don't mind a unruley dog that's fine ,but when it effects me and others that's when it becomes a problem.
