I didn't see this, if it's the same dress I saw in a clip yesterday. It showed her walking to the stand, rear view of a pretty sloppy looking backside, panty lines showing from the parachute stowed inside. I had to turn it off after hearing her for a few minutes, so I didn't see any more than that.

Mayorkas personally rejected RFK Jr. Secret Service protection
Dan J replied to Dan J's topic in Political Graffiti
I know they wish he wasn't in the race, and a potential drain on "their" votes, I guess they must want to see him financially drained by having to buy his own protection. No matter what one may think of his positions, he is going to be far more consequential in this election than many would like to admit. Even if discretion is involved, it should be an easy call to give him the SS protection. Mayorkas is a meanspirited jackass, par for the course for this administration. -

What an ignorant douche-nozzle... From Washington Examiner - February 13, 2024 Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who today faces a second impeachment vote in the House, personally rejected an “urgent” appeal from independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Secret Service protection. In a letter dated July 21, 2023, two weeks after the urgent appeal, Mayorkas dismissed the request without explanation. The letter to Secret Service Director Kimberly A. Cheatle said, “On May 26, 2023, candidate for President Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. submitted a request to the Department of Homeland Security for United States Secret Service protection. In accordance with the authority set forth in Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056(a)(7), and in consultation with the Candidate Protection Advisory Committee, I decline to identify candidate Kennedy for United States Secret Service protection at this time.” The letter was included in a second batch of records provided to legal watchdog Judicial Watch. It included 99 mostly blank and redacted pages of information. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton decried Mayorkas’s decision. “It is simply despicable that Secretary Mayorkas refused needed Secret Service protection for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,” he said, adding, “That it took a federal FOIA lawsuit to force out this information speaks volumes.” Mayorkas has provided little transparency at his agency, which is under attack for dissolving border security. In a second try, House Republicans are hoping to vote to impeach him tonight for his inaction at the U.S.-Mexico border. Just last week, Secrets reported on the first batch of records the Secret Service provided to Judicial Watch, which had to resort to a lawsuit to get the information under the Freedom of Information Act. Those papers showed that the Secret Service reviewed Kennedy’s request for security. In them, officials ordered that nobody respond to Kennedy. In one of the 63 pages of mostly redacted emails, a top official concluded that “no response” to Kennedy or his worried private security team was needed, “nor should it.” Kennedy’s uncle, former President John F. Kennedy, and his father, Robert F. Kennedy, died in assassinations. Within 24 hours of the June 6, 1968, assassination of then-Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, President Lyndon Johnson directed the Secret Service to provide protection to presidential candidates. Under current law, the Department of Homeland Security and congressional leaders have the discretion to order Secret Service Protection of presidential candidates.

So when does Biden submit to cognitive and neurologic testing?
Dan J replied to Gotcow?'s topic in Political Graffiti
He probably would not have been able to pass it even before he was senile. I'm remembering a cringe worthy clip of Biden from back in 1988 - he challenged somebody at a campaign appearance to compare their I.Q. The press followed up on this and found that just about every claim the guy ever had about his education achievements were lies. And then all the plagiarism examples were also found. This was a time when media figures were actual journalists and did their job. -

I think there are better choices than Scott. Trump needs to pick somebody that will be an insurance policy that makes it less likely somebody will try to off him if he gets nominated or elected. Ramaswamy would fit the bill for this, but I know that's unlikely to happen. (Haley would be a terrible mistake, and put a great big target on Trump's back.) Scott is likable enough, but watching him in his debate performances, I couldn't help but feel he is a bit dull. I also don't have confidence that if he were to assume the presidency, he wouldn't cave like a house of cards to the will of the swamp. There's also been a bit of conjecture about the possibility of Elise Stefanik, who I would prefer over Scott. She is articulate, wicked smart, and sharp as a tack. She has shown this in the hearings that exposed the presidents of Harvard, Penn, and MIT as cowardly, woke, blithering idiots. She has also done the same in interviews as with Kristen Welker on Meet The Press, who had her ass handed to her by Stefanik.
-
I have seen the news that Scott is expected to endorse Trump. I must have missed the news that he will be the VP choice for Trump. Has there been an announcement on this, or is it just conjecture at this point?

Are the Wheels coming off? Not a good day for Fani Willis’…
Dan J replied to Harf's topic in Political Graffiti
Sorry Knewb, but there are plenty of others besides Trump who think Fani is going to land on her great big fanny over this. Of course, none of them would be acceptable sources to you and others that live in your (lack of) information bubble. I guess we'll see what a crock it is if Fani gets disbarred for her corrupt shenanigans. This ignorant, arrogant piece of crap must think of herself as untouchable. She is not. -
Here's the thing - one of the possible triggers of a civil war is going to be the belief that there has been an unclean election. Both major party sides have done this going back to the election of 2000. Before Trump, you had Gore in 2000, Ohio going red in 2004, Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Stacy Abrams. All of those involved on the losing side of these examples were/are election deniers. Of course, there were shady elections before that, but in modern times you go back to at least 2000. In the absence of verifiable results, and things like voter ID and a way to verify a mailed in ballot is authentic AND valid from a legit voter, there will be a lack of confidence in the accuracy of the outcome. To not do these simple things (that some are fighting tooth and nail to prevent)is playing with fire IMO.
-
I agree that you won't see battlefields as in the 1860's. The states themselves are too divided, and it will be impossible to tell for sure who's side most people are on. It's my belief if a "hot" civil war is to happen, it will take the form (at first )of high profile assassinations. From there, expect terrorist attacks, with lots of collateral damage. Think Northern Ireland or Middle East type of mayhem.

I was skeptical of Rand when he got his Senate seat, as I thought he had some big shoes to fill with regard to his father Ron. I think I misjudged him, he is much better than I thought he'd be, and with the advantage of being younger and more articulate than his father. Among other things, his hard work in exposing Fauci as the fraud that he is during Senate hearings deserves recognition. As to his endorsing Trump - why wouldn't he, given the choice between Trump and Clinton or Trump and Biden? The fact is, Trumps stated policy goals in 2015 had a LOT in common with the policies Ron Paul was running on in 2008. Illegal immigration, federal agencies run amok, endless war to name just a few. And if there is anything either of the Paul's are good at, it is being able to sniff out a neo-con from the woodpile. I don't know where the viewpoint that Rand Paul is a dope comes from, but I don't share it - it's just not a credible or informed assessment of the man. The anti-endorsement he's just done may not do any good to stop Haley (she is the media/establishment chosen one after all), but it can't hurt. (Just a reminder of the original "Tea Party" - a record breaking internet "money bomb" in December 2007 for Ron Paul, that had media and uni-party types so uptight they were afraid to even mention his name)
-
I remember a line from Ron Paul when he was a presidential candidate in 2008: "All of this will come to an end, when the dollar is no longer accepted" I assume meaning - "full faith and credit of the United States federal government" would no longer be a thing, I guess. We don't need to repay no stinkin' debt... (God help us)
-
True. Since they don't have a decent record to run on, it will be about the bogus "saving democracy" thing. In addition, as already mentioned earlier in the thread, there will be attempts to continue to play up race and identity, as well as abortion, to try to keep suburban women from defecting. There's gonna be a bit of panic and hand wringing for the next several months until Biden's finally given the hook, and either Gavin Newsome or Michelle Obama will parachute in to try to save them.
